[Bolivar] Axe Man

Ruby held back a laugh though her eyes suggested disbelief. Who would ask one intending to heal him for a fight ? It would've been funnier if she had been a mere spectator, but the fighting intent was directed to none other than her. Strangely she was relieved to see her gentle approach failed. This was a man of action who would not be helped out of pity, a man whose swords speak louder than his words, his fists than his thoughts. She could afford to put away self-restraint and let free the brasher side of her personality.

"Have your way with you ? You make it sound as if I'm trying to rape you." she finally laughed in good humour, despite unsheathing her suvai by holding the sheath in place while the rotation of her body did the work of springing out the suvai. The sword skill she did best; and not even close to those trained.

There were certain situations in which fighting a bare-fisted opponent with a weapon was dishonourable, but with her being weak as it was, she figured the Isur would be offended if she didn't take the handicap. He'd be sure to be disappointed in the haphazard swings to follow though.

"I understand if you choose not to accept help, but hindering someone to complete her obligation when no harm'd be done to you is discourteous if not selfish, don't you think ?"

Beneath her crude words (albeit a bit softened due to habit) were her mind racing to memorize the theories of sword fighting her mother had lectured her on. She unsheathed the suvai with the sharp blade facing upwards, and brought it forward so that the point was aimed at the Isur's throat. Putting her right foot forward, she struggled to keep the center of weight between her feet and ended up being wobbly. She dashed forward, trying to let her falling weight be the forward motion but instead kicked the ground. The embarassment wasn't complete until after she almost tripped out of an unsteady start. However she managed to recover balance and swung the suvai at the Isur's side stomach.

Her breath held, time seemed to stopped in these seconds before the clash that warriors had savored since the world existed.
