Threads in Endrykas?

I'm a looking specifically for anyone who can help Darius learn some more magic of literally any kind. That said, I'm up for anything. Darius is an aspiring mage just returned home to Endrykas to become a stronger...Webber?...Weaver?...whatever a person who understands webs is called.

He can start immediately or wait until the season changes, if you'd prefer.

Drykas aren't known for their prowess with magic, though they can definitely learn it. They specialize in webbing which is Djed related, not sure if there are any PC magic users other then webbers at the moment.

If you have anything else you want to RP about I am free and can do a few more threads. Taylani is a captive from one of the Syliras Raids..depending on what time of the season the thread is, she can either be abrasive and short, or more willing to be friendly ;P

Reimancy has been pretty common among PC Drykas, that I've seen. Not so many now -- aside from Kavala, who resides in Riverfall -- but previously.

Within Endrykas, you're most likely to need an NPC mentor for any discipline; I'm not sure there are even any current Webbers who are more than competent.

I knew that in the past there were Drykas PC's who were skilled in Reimancy, and I am working on an eventual plot that will get Taylani introduced to it in the far future. Laying ground work but that was in flashbacks to get Lore (not skill points) in Reimancy. Once I am ready to get her kick started I will probably find a way to take her to another place.

That being said I was thinking that the Lore in Drykas was that they weren't much on Reimancy, not that they couldn't do it just that they didn't bother with it much so it would seem to me that there should be very few who could. Though we know that the popularity of something even if it's not something that should be in the majority or vast doesnt mean it isn't. Look at Riverfall, it is suppose to be vastly majority of Akalak and I know of 3 Akalak active PC's there the rest are Konti and Kelvic with the occasional human

There are some NPC's that can be ran that have a decent amount of +webbing to teach it that I am sure that someone could guest mod with permission. I have to go look through the lore again about the Drykas and Magic thing.

Discounting Webbing, Ruby Clan tends to Glyphing, Sapphire to Reimancy. And I think we're sidetracking this thread.

Darius, I'm not taking on any more Fall threads now, but I'd be happy to do some archery with you in Winter, if that interests you.

Actually the archery sounds great, and I'll probably need to wait till winter anyway. And I'm quite aware that the Drykas aren't the greatest general magicians ( though the glyphing is interesting, I hadn't realized Ruby clan did that), this is just a starting point for a larger journey Darius will be taking over the course of a long, long time to learn a lot of magic. The travel that will require will be half the fun.

And I wouldn't mind writing with Taylani too, but it would also probably need to wait until winter. Darius doesn't arrive in Endrykas until about the 82 of Fall.

No problem, just shoot me a PM. In Winter I plan on working on Taylani's basic skills she would need just to live in Endrykas. So I will be free for much role playing fun.

My character will be in Endrykas for the entire Winter, so it might be nice to have someone to thread with.
