This is beginning to sound a whole lot like the Riverfall Ice Masqurade party I participated in as Alia, where masks were given and drinks were drugged. Which is entirely a good thing, as I loved that thread (despite it never finishing). Count me in!

Woooow....

I'm loving this, so far. Huge masquerade party with masks and costumes and all sorts of Winter-y decorations.

Maybe there's a magician, too! MAYBE HE'S THE ONE WHO SPIKES THE DRINKS!

And then everything goes down the pooper.

...this is making me think of that insane party from The Shining. Unmask!

After reading the Riverfell party thread, the only thing I can say is DO NOT let the resident wizard spike the drinks with "love dust". Because so far attending this party is a sometimes-reptile dressed as a petite blonde boy, a dead guy, half a Zith, two (male) humans and a dog. The implications are horrifying.

Wait, instead of a wizard with drugs to make the party more interesting, why don't we have the city itself come down and shit on everything? Its a beautiful masquerade with elaborate costumes and wintery decorations, everything is perfect, and then mid way though- BAM, everyone is blind.

Temporarily, of course, but that sounds like something that dick Inou would do.

Or half the population is deaf, and the other half is blind? Really, anything to mess with the vital senses would be fun. We would have to either pair up in order to figure out what the hell is going on, or grope our way out blindfolded. Maybe someone with a third or forth marked Illusion Gnosis is to blame.
