Trevelt kept his feet moving and his eyes straight as he listened to the girl. She clearly had a deep dislike of Sailors, for some reason or another. This he may have to inquire about later on. After her answer she still held a angrily determined stare ahead as she muttered something Trevelt couldn't begin to understand.
"I ask simply to keep this from getting stale," he said as he inclined his head to look at Sami. His lips bending into a light smile. She displayed confidence and a belief in her power he hadn't seen in many, she could be quite valuable in the future, he thought as his smile deepened with a malicious intent for a but a moment before he caught himself. Quickly lightening it and turning forward again. "It interests me that you are here of all places, especially alone," he said thinking back to the fact that he was here alone as well.
"No traps," he said as he raised his hands in a motion of innocence. That confidence was showing through again. She clearly had some combat experience, he could see that from both the manner she held herself in and the condition of her body. His pace slowed as they reached the final stretch before reaching his intended destination. The temple itself stood not but a few lengths ahead. He had only been there a few times before but it still held up now in its appearance.
He stopped now. He had pushed the noise to the back of his head this far, but maybe now was a good time to ask. "Pardon me for asking but what might that noise be that follows you," he inquired as he turned to the girl. His eyes questioning her as he sized her up once again.
