She moves with a practiced, focused grace, until she walks into something because she‘s too busy practicing grace to look where she‘s going. There is something of the bird in her, all fine bones, big eyes, and long limbs. She favors green accents to her clothing and cosmetics, and tends to dress rather lightly, compensating with a cloak. She likes to be noticed and looked at. Her eyes are a bright grey, and her hair is dark and kept at a length just down past her ears. She likes to wear bells, and has various piercings. Character Concept Younger sister of Annalisa Marin, Elsa looks up to her sibling immensely. Much of what she‘s done in her life has been to follow in Anna‘s footsteps. She yearns for her sister‘s respect and chafes under the shadow of Annalisa Marin, Professor of Gliphing at the University of Zeltiva and rising star in the Sahovan necrocracy. She is very sensitive to being compared to her sister, and she‘s internalized the question that‘s been asked of her so many times. “Are you as good as your sister?” She tends to try and cover up her differences from her sister. It takes a lot to get her to admit that she actually enjoys dancing or getting all decorated or really anything that doesn’t fit the scholarly arcane image. She moves a lot, expressing her feelings in Pavi handsign, shifting when she’s nervous, swaying when she’s thinking, etc. Coupled with how she likes to decorate her clothing with bells, she can be very, very hard to ignore. Character History Elsa Marin was the quintessential younger sister. She emulated Anna in all things. Those who displeased her were threatend with Anna‘s wrath. She was going to grow up to be just like her sister, they all said. She was considerably frustrated when, during the time Anna spent at the University of Zeltiva before Elsa could join her, she discovered a love of things that ran entirely contrary to what people expected of her. No longer Anna‘s constant shadow, Elsa found a surprising passion for dancing. Not the rigid, courtly ballroom dances, though she can still muster a decent waltz if pushed to it, but the sinuous, swaying, primal dances where she was touched and looked at and worshipped. When she had the option to attend the University, she took it immediately. She had an affinity for mathematics and its related disciplines. A head for numbers drew her to choose the Void as her first subject of study in the College of Djed, her interest sparked by the idea of absolute nothingness. Much like the number zero, the Void gave meaning to the cosmos by being meaningless. Her first portal deposited a remarkably well preserved bone into her lap, which she wears around her neck.
