The winds around the city had picked up more and more over the days until it became relentless. Zulrav's wraith continued to plague the city and with the harsh winds, all flights had been canceled in and out of the city. This left one spunky Endal and her ornery Wind Eagle stuck inside with nothing but their own company to pass the time. Lavira and Kovac were off doing their own thing, preparing to have babies, whatever they were working up.
Inside the Stone Crest Galley, Alori and Druveth were having their own bonding time. The little Endal laid on the floor of the Wind Eagle's nest, a simple black Vinati and undergarments covering parts of her snow white skin. Her fiery red hair was draped across her forehead and the length sprawled out across the bedding in a wave of fire. The teen looked as if she had been made a sacrifice for the giant bird to feast on, but the truth was very different. It started with a simple request from a brooding eagle.
Sing for me please..
Hazel eyes stared upward through a mess of strains plastered across her face. Her vision taking in a very large head and a pair of huge eyes focusing only on her. Dark feathers ruffled slightly as pale legs shifted one over the other. Of everyone she knew, Alori could say that Durveth enjoyed her singing more than any other. It made her feel good to know that the eagle really enjoyed her voice. She felt appreciated, even flattered by it, and that feeling was placed into the song each time that she sang for her.
The gentle sounds and musical notes flowed softly through the room as Durveth nudged the wind chimes around her. Music is what they needed, music and song to help them pass the time and boredom of the day where they were stuck inside. Alori smiled, parting her lips as she started to sing in a low tone.
"All my life, I've always waited for the day"
"I always wondered if I had what it takes"
"I wonder if they will laugh and point if they see me fail"
"But I can't stop now that I know what I want"
"and I won't stop until I make you understand"
