74th of Winter 513AV Drusilla's room Noonish Drusilla waited in her room, pacing every so often. She had summoned Erade (a Yasi whom Drusilla had gotten attached to) in a note to meet her in her room. While the youth often took shelter from the rest of Wind Reach in the Symenestra's quarters, today was different. Erade normally came as she pleased. However Drusilla herself had called the teen to her room. Why? Because Drusilla had learned something special about today. It was Erade's birthday, and as a youth living in the Yasi quarters no one would celebrate. She wasn't even sure Erade would remember her own birthday with her Yasi schooling. Drusilla began to pace again, then stopped to ensure the girl's gifts were hidden from sight. Butterflies danced in the Symenestra's stomach. While she had a hard time celebrating her own birthday. Erade's was a whole different story. She finally pulled out some sewing to ease her nerves.
