Built into the cliffs overlooking the Suvan Sea, Riverfall resides on the edge of grasslands of Cyphrus where the Bluevein River plunges off the plain and cascades down to the inland sea below. Home of the Akalak, Riverfall is a self-supporting city populated by devoted warriors. [Riverfall Codex]

"Being human means I won't get the opportunities you have, love." The sun provided by Syna became stronger the more it was out. Orabelle did not seem as chilly like she was before but she still held on to Favchean."Us humans seem to know it too, which is why we try to do everything at one. We try so hard to learn magic, or learn to sing or even raise a family at young ages. We try so hard not to leave the world like we came in. Knowing nothing. Time flies and soon we will shrivel up and die. A scary thing, really. But if we die, we hope it will be of old age and we hope our death will not go in vain." She began to think long and hard about humans and why they were quick to rush into stuff." I guess that's why I don't plan ahead. I feel like their is no time. No time to think, or-"Orabelle swallowed hard. She frowned a bit.

She did not want to tell the kind Akalak how she felt about marriage. That she's never been in love and tries to keep it that way. The last thing she wants to worry about is how to heal a broken heart when that person you thought you would be with forever will leave you. Her eyes met his and her frown was turned upside down."I would love to birth more than ten!"She said enthusiastically. He was now her height and it made her feel good."Just imagine? All those beautiful children, growing up to do all they can." Orabelle kept the thought of becoming a nakivak to herself. She did not want to tell him that she's decided already thanks to him, he's opened her eyes a bit more now. And she wanted to be a nakivak.

"Favored by who?" She questioned a little suspicious. Who would favor such an overpopulated race?

Favchean shook his head a little at her words, it is so easy for people to see the shortcomings of their races but so very hard to see the beauty of it when faced with things that they long for. He, too, had felt the jealousy of the human race from time to time. "Everything comes with a price Orabelle. Longevity ensures that we will see those we love die, unless of course the very likely chance we fall in battle or defending the city. We are not guaranteed our long lives, but still must pay the balance that the gods struck."

One hand lifts to gently tap her chin with his forefinger, just a light touch, "Do not dwell so much on your relatively short life but enjoy what the gods gave you. Fertility, ability to live, laugh and love. Take none of it for granted."

He straightens and once more begins walking. "Tell me what your plans are while you are here in the city. Do you plan on taking the Kuvan test?"

"I guess it's true..." Orabelle responded. Her voice was once again soft. She felt silly about ranting on and on to Favchean. He was nice enough to patiently listen, even if he disagreed. It made her wonder why he was so calm. Orabelle probably said a lot that might have disappointed and he was still here. I have to be really annoying by now. She thought to herself. But his face never changed. He didn't show signs of being annoyed or upset."The gods always know what they're doing." She told him with a sympathetic voice.

When he tapped her chin, she began to grin."Fertility, the ability to live, laugh and love." She repeated after him and nodded."I will remember that. Thank you Favchean. You are very kind and humble. Not to mention very attractive." Orabelle winked at him before chuckling. She stopped by a tree, releasing herself from Favchean she sat by it." My feet need a rest. It felt like we've been walking for hours." She took off her boots, showing her petite feet. She was able to do her own pedicure and too keep her feet clean."Ah, that's better."

"I heard of the kuvan test. But of today I've decided another path." She told him.

Favchean grinned as she sat once more, a little concerned that he hadn't realized that she was growing uncomfortable with walking. "We shall see. The gods have ways of changing things when we least expect them." He moved to settle against the tree once more, not willing to leave her if she was hurt but also not willing to just scoop her up and carry her off. Some people were touchy about that sort of thing.

"I am sure that whatever you decide to do Orabelle that you will find yourself content. You don't seem to be the type to make a decision and then lament about it later." Favchean bent one knee, and threw his arm over it casually. He would sit here and chat with her until she felt rested enough to continue. Then he would see her to her home before moving on to finish the rest of his day.

The Fates Have Spoken.

Player: Favchean
XP: +5 Socialization +3 Teaching
Lores: Orabella: Svefra, Orabella: Voluntary Nakivak

Player: Orabelle
XP: +5 Socialization, +5 Interrogation
Lores: Akalaks: Fall in love like any other males of any other races. Akalaks: Can only father Akalak sons except with Konti. Zith: Cook and eat people Favchean: His mother and father were married. Favchean: His mother was not a Nakivak Favchean: Konti Mother Akontaks: Akalak and Konti Hybrids

Notes: Akajia is the mother of the Akalak, not Akijia. Watch your tenses, Fav. They change multiple times, sometimes in the same sentence. I did not award lores for certain things because some of the things Fav told Orabelle was not in the lore and not accurate… for instance, one in four human women die. That is not a figure in the lore. Eypharian and humans are not stated in the lore to have the most difficult time. You might want to go back and edit out some of this misinformation. Also no where in the lore does it say Nakivaks are used to spare wives. You might be getting Symenestra surrogates confused here. I don’t think an Akalak with a wife would take a Nakivak. He would be breaking his Cheva Vow.

One benefit of the Konti Nakivak is that there exists a five percent chance of an Akontak being produced which are children considered closer to the Gods than all others. These individuals are often exalted and cherished within Riverfall. Eypharians have been used as Nakivak, so too have the desert tribes. Humans, while frail, are the most common types of Nakivak. And if the Akalak find a human female that births easily, she is rarely let out of her contract before three children or more are born. That means, having entered into Nakivak status, she might very well spend the rest of her life as one. Isur, though rare, are sturdy and make excellent Nakivak. Charodae, Symenestra, and Dhani are never used as Nakivak.
