Physical Description: Kelsey is slender and lanky in the limbs just like her cat. She stands at a measly 5'4 and weights maybey 120 lbs, but somehow manages to keep it from looking awkward. She keeps her tawny hair short, simply because it bothers her if she has to spend more than a few minutes dealing with it every morning. The less work the better, in Kelsey's opinion. The one feature that disturbs general humans and gives her away as Kelvic are her light brown eyes at night. They reflect the light around her, making them seem to glow, but giving her excellent night vision.

Her cat on the other hand is small, barely cresting two feet at the shoulder. Most of that height is thanks to her longer legs. She weighs maybe 25 lbs, soaking wet. From nose to tail she is about 39 inches long, with ears that are much to big for her head. This gives her a comical half grown look to her that is never going to change.

Character History: Kelsey was born in the Spires to a human father and a Kelvic mother. Her father, thanks to years bonded to her mother and the abundance of her kind, knew straight off what she was, and, with help from her mother, kept her from bonding at a young age. It helped that the settlement was isolated so few people came and went. Not that this bothered Kelsey in the least. She was content to explore the surrounding area by herself, both as a human and her cat. Her father tried to keep her entertained by teaching her the art of woodcarving. Unfortunately, despite Kelsey's interest in the topic, her need to stray became more difficult to live with as she aged. She began to wonder further and further from home.

Her father assumed it was her adolescence kicking in, but her mother knew and understood the true cause. Kelsey's Kelvic nature was hitting her full force, and she needed to go. When she hit the age of two, her parents packed her a bag, gave her Shadow, and sent her off to explore the world, something Kelsey took to with great abandon. For a time, she was content with that, but as of late, she has noticed that she is becoming lonely more frequently and is watching humans much closer than she used to. However, she is afraid of big cities and tends to linger around the outskirts, making it difficult to interact with humans.

Personality: Kelsey is a relatively friendly girl so long as no one approaches her in large groups. Large parties of people scare her. This was brought on by living in an isolated place for her first few years and her parents continuous work to keep her from bonding. A good way to get her past this problem is to get her to play. Kelsey is more than willing to overlook the number of people in favor of a good game. She is quiet in nature and isn't crazy about loud noises. Between this and her fear of large groups, larger cities terrify her. She prefers to be out in nature, exploring something or lounging in some sunny patch of grass. She is happier to be out and about at night.

When Kelsey is by herself you can often find her hunting for mice and other small creatures. Shadow is her companion on the road. Sadly he is a horse, and not one she can understand. She would've preferred another cat, but sadly she cannot ride a cat. Kelsey longs for her own human to bond with more than another cat. It is a need that is starting to make itself known now that she is away from home and working by herself to survive.

Hello there!

I'm Crosspatch, one of the friendly CS Liaisons on Mizahar! I've been looking over your Character Sheet, and I have noticed some minor issues that need to be resolved and fixed. Sadly these need to be done before you can continue roleplaying, so let's take a look at them shall we?

  • Denvali is a dialect of Common. Those who know Common should be able to understand Denvali, for the most part.
  • The skill "Archery" is not a valid skill. Weapon skills specific to what is being used, and are labelled as "Weapon: Weapon name”. For example to use a shortbow you would label it as "Weapon: Shortbow."
  • Your lore "Animal behaviour" is too broad, more so when there is the skill Animal Husbandry. A lore is some form of general knowledge that the character has gained over their lifetime. Such as knowledge on a particular deity or knowing the layout of a particular city.
  • As a race, Kelvics have a hard time learning more academic and scholarly subjects (languages included) difficult to learn - even more so before bonding. Please take this into consideration. Also Jamouran grunts are also seldom used by the Jamoura, and is most commonly used by those Jamoura who have embraced their bestial past.

Once these problems have been dealt with, drop me a PM and I'll remove this intervention and approve your CS for you. Also if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask and I'll do my best to answer!
