Built into the cliffs overlooking the Suvan Sea, Riverfall resides on the edge of grasslands of Cyphrus where the Bluevein River plunges off the plain and cascades down to the inland sea below. Home of the Akalak, Riverfall is a self-supporting city populated by devoted warriors. [Riverfall Codex]

Harshly coming down a crash Belle flew over the shoulders of her horse. With a scream, more of fear than pain, she rolled to the side as Bash continued to buck excitedly. Getting back up she finally lurched forward and grasped the leather reins in her hands. Throwing up her hand she tried to calm the speckled Mixed blood. As the leather ripped from her hand the heat burned her hand and left them partially pink and fleshy. Doing something she doesn't do often, angrily she shouted, " Bash! Won't you steady already! " Normally his temper Tantrums wouldn't last for long, She was outside of the stables. Finally, With nostrils flaring he lifted his head high and refrained from dancing around in circles.

Taking in a deep breath she extended her hand and then snatched the reins once more. Belle wasn't going to be ridding him today. With her legs covered in grass stains and her white shirt filled with blotched dirt Belle led Bash back to the stables, she thought to herself
" So much for ridding you today."Once they got back into the stables she decided to remove the tack herself. Slowly slipping off the leather bridle and replacing it with a used green halter. Once she got it on she laced the lead rope around the wooden post and then began to remove the saddle. Piece by piece, Buckle by buckle she got it all removed as well as the sweaty saddle pad.

Leading him into his stall he hesitated at first and then entered himself. Unlatching the lead rope she hung it outside the stall door. Closing it she left Bash and returned with a cup of feed. Even though he didn't deserve it she enjoyed his presence all together. Almost as though Bash was being starved he ate at pellets quickly and without hesitation. Wiping her forehead Belle pushed her black from sticking to the sides of her cheeks and leaned back against the wood. Sounds of horses echoed in the stables but Belle took in a deep breath and hung her head until she finally got back up and started heading to The White Crane but then changed her mind. Now going in the direction of the Knirin Gardens.

Once she reached the gardens she ran her hand over the flowers, There were so many kinds. She loved it.
" Mooneyes, Baby Cheeks. "She slowly whispered under her breath as she observed the flowers. The flower's scents were mixed perfectly as they all were spread out in bunches."Crag Firs.." The small trees only reached to her knees, They were rather fascinating in a way only a person who spent most of her days staring at them, Tending to gardens would notice. It was weird, Everybody seemed to be so attracted to the prettiest flowers, the flowers with the most color.. But Belle saw something else. She saw life in the small tendril roots laced over one another, racing to see who could reach the warm earth first. Belle ran her fingers over the needle-filled branches. Such beauty goes ignored because of it's appearance and it's basic coloring.

Taking her seat on an empty bench Belle lifted up her hands so she could see the pink flesh. Sighing she rubbed the tips of her fingers lightly over the patches but it still hurt. It would take awhile for them to heal over time. There was quite a lot of people around, nobody she knew, nobody she conversed with. She wasn't the best at conversations and especially not saying hello to a complete stranger. It was a curse in a way. Belle remained silent while others filled with joy and laughter spoke loudly to one another. Belle choose to sit alone and not say much.

An apprehensive gaze was cast about as Tydus moved his body further and further from the Riverfall docks. It was as if, with the growing distance, the saline smell of the ocean faded away. Tydus thought of the rippling tides, the crashing waves against the shore. But, most of all, he thought of Laviku. Ten. Ten days the Svefra had spent in reunion with his God by living upon the shores of his blood. Two. Two days since he had set sail, journeying across to the wreckage of his Pod's Sloop, and where there was grief and pain encountered there, a desire fostered. He wanted out of this place. Tydus desired a reason to leave Riverfall for the sake of exploration and communion with mighty Laviku, but as of yet, the Svefra was not allowed the privilege, fate taking its time to prepare the path to follow.

At the very least, there was a Pod to journey with. A gathering of three men was not a Pod. A gathering of six, with three life-givers and a Lia, to boot, was. He had breathed a sigh of relief when he realized that his unwarranted leadership of this fledgling group of Svefra was no longer an issue, and he allowed himself a moment to simply... sneak off. Despite his own reluctance to lead, his opinion of the new Lia was not entirely respectful. Callipsia? A wonderful girl, but nonetheless, a girl. She's not ready for this. A Pod needs a Lia to lead them, not a fledgling, stuttering child.

There was an extent of harshness in his tone, a measured, cold assessment of his Lia that could not yet be proven wrong rose in his mind as he approached the natural beauty of what was the Knirin Gardens. His thoughts came to a conclusion as his eyes widened with the marvel that was the sight before him. Flora was strung about in the shape of a cylinder upon metal chain link, strung about to form a sort of flower tunnel that shone with the beauty of the land-locked realm. It was by no means something that rivaled the sea, but... for landlubbers and their creations, it was... passable.

A soft hum escaped the Svefra's lips as warm spring air blew across his bare chest in short gusts. He had rolled his tunic around his right shoulder, allowing his left, and the massive gnosis mark that was bestowed upon it, to remain in full view as he allowed Syna to kiss his skin with her rays of light. While Tydus had been upon the Waverunner's Fist he had not needed to sail, picking up only very basic knowledge of the craft, for he was assigned other tasks. The result was a less exotic skin tone, his olive tones still respectable, but it was not his flesh that led to the impression that he was a Svefra. Never.

The Svefra allowed an aromatic breath to fill his lungs, almost choking due to the fact that the sea was no longer an aspect of the scent, a cough escaped the man's lips as he reached his hand up to his pectorals and banged it against his heart, hoping to soothe his coughs before he sat himself down. On the bench across from him, he saw the visage of a beautiful, pale young woman, managing an exasperated smile at her before he muttered to himself in Fratava, "How the petch do these people withstand air like this? It's disturbing to breathe this..."
