AppearanceRace: Myrian
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Birthday: 21st of Summer, 490 AV
Birthplace: Taloba
Appearance: Drigas is six foot tall, and weighs about 180 pounds, although most of it is just pure muscle. He has tanned skin, which comes from the great amount of time the Myrian spends in the sunlight, and brown eyes. Drigas has dark brown hair that is messily placed upon his head, although tightly bound into thick strands, it reaches down to his neck. Piercings are somewhat of a rarity on Drigas' body, but he still has a bone stud in his left ear lobe and two pieces of bone crafted into small rings that he's got on the left side of his lower lip. Tattoos are dominant on the Myrian's body though, along with the rest of his kind. Drigas has all sorts of patterns and symbols all over himself, but his favorite one is the fire he had done on the back of his right hand, which is also the hand he uses to wield his weapons with, to represent his clan.
Character ConceptDrigas has been described by other Myrians as psychotic, murderous and brutal. Even more so than the normal kind that Myrians are used to. His favorite thing to do is abuse others, verbally or physically. For this, he holds a reputation in Taloba for those very reasons. Drigas has a hatred for anything that isn't Myrian, though he will tolerate Kelvics, to an extent. This ideology was drilled into his head by his father at a young age. He refuses to make friends, and prefers to train on his own, in solitude. Drigas hopes that one day, he will become a great warrior to please his father.
Character HistoryDrigas was born on the 21st day of Summer in 490 AV to a Taloban soldier father and a hunter for a mother. He had an older brother and two younger sisters, all of whom dreamed to become great people within the community like their parents. Drigas and his brother wanted to follow their father into the Taloban military whereas his sisters liked to worked with their mother on her hunts with fellow females.
All of them were members of the Raging Fires clan, which were renowned throughout Taloba as one of the most militaristic of it's kind. All the men went on to join the army ranks and the women were to hunt and scavenge. It was a simple process that was kept for generations, and still is today.
At the age of 15, Drigas enlisted in the military along with his brother. This act pleased their parents so much that their father gifted Drigas with a battleaxe and his brother with a sword. Both had fires engraved on their hilts, to show their loyalty to the clan. The brothers basked in the glory their family rewarded them with before finally bidding goodbye and setting off on their travels after moving into the barracks.
Five years on, while the two were patrolling outside of Taloba, they were ambushed by a group of Ukantsu warriors, determined to get revenge for the decimation of their kind by the Myrians. Drigas' group numbered six, and the Ukantsu had only four. The first Ukantsu fighter fell from an arrow that had been fired into his heart by one of the Myrians before Drigas' brother had dispatched the second with a swift slash of his sword. The remaining Ukantsu fled, but the Myrian's gave chase.
Drigas' group was led into a secluded area where five more Ukantsu were waiting, weapons poised. An arrow was loosed from behind Drigas from a Myrian, which stuck itself into an enemy's arm. Drigas quickly took his chance and embedded his battleaxe into the foe's head, killing him instantly. As he was pulling out the weapon, another Ukantsu lunged forward, only to be cut open by Drigas' brother's sword, and have his guts spill out onto the floor.
What happened next, changed Drigas forever.
The third Ukantsu appeared from nowhere and grabbed Drigas' brother, holding a knife to his throat. Before Drigas could react, the knife slid across the throat and blood flowed from it. As his brother fell, Drigas raised his battleaxe and brought it down with such might onto the Ukantsu warrior's skull that it almost split the whole thing in half. A blind rage took over Drigas and he slaughtered the remaining Ukantsu, with the help of his fellow Myrians, and they returned home.
Drigas left the army and just wandered aimlessly around Taloba. He spent the majority of his time in taverns, refusing to talk to anyone. The Myrian had gone insane, and the news spread like wildfire. All of those who dared to approach Drigas returned beaten. After a while though, he began to come out of his cocoon, and expressed his anger in a more psychotic way, and it began to anger some people...
