Built into the cliffs overlooking the Suvan Sea, Riverfall resides on the edge of grasslands of Cyphrus where the Bluevein River plunges off the plain and cascades down to the inland sea below. Home of the Akalak, Riverfall is a self-supporting city populated by devoted warriors. [Riverfall Codex]

The sky was clear and the sun was bright today, the only thing making it a not so good day was the flu that seemed to have over taken the city. Apparently people were blaming the standing water, and it was days like this that Ren was glad she was a Svefra and had other means of obtaining water than by trying to drink water that was sitting around too long. Ever since she heard talk about it on the docks when she was climbing out of her ship she'd decided to spend the day in her boat just off the shore near Valkalah's Tears, watching the lava flow.

One of the few things Ren hated about cities were the illnesses that got passed around so quickly, so she was trying to avoid the city and the flu. She sighed softly as she dangled her feet over the side of the boat and let her toes skim the surface, causing ripples in the water as she did so. It was only after she got settled and comfortable when her Tavan, Breeze, appeared from under the surface and caused a wave of water to rise up and soak the Svefra. She gasped as Breeze clicked in amusement before diving back down into the water. Ren glared after him as she shook water off of her hands and arms and then started trying to wring out her long black hair.

"At least I know this water is clean..." She mumbled with a sigh as she twirled her hair into a tight curl then wrapped it in on itself and created a very messy bun at the nape of her neck. At least with Breeze she knew she would not be bored today, he would be sure to do his sneaky splash attack at random times throughout the day to make sure she was staying on her toes, and maybe to try and knock her into the water to play.

Quarantine, Svefra Style

Except for the sick individuals that roamed the streets, as they were probably unwise enough to not to stay in their homes with their illness, it was quite a lovely day for Stefan. The night before was a nightmare, if an interesting one, because to be honest, how many times in their life one gets involved with a bunch of murderous Dhanis? Most poor sods only end up with one. Stefan was lucky, was his friend Chandray Evereene managed to save him, though he was sure that he still got some bruises.

Still, he needed time to relax for it, but the sickly was not helping so he decided to stay far, far away from them as humanly possible, and what better place than the Valkalah Tears, a beach he never visited? And of course, there was the fact that everybody was saying that the flu was spreading by the water... so naturally, Stefan decided to drink just wine until the issue solved itself.

Truth be told, the beach was gorgeous, and it gave Stefan some sort of nostalgia. Again, he couldn’t help but think about his time in the sea, as he felt the sand under his feet, with the cold sea water around them. Even though the scenery was something worth watching, he couldn’t help but just look at the sea, bathed in the sun’s rays.

But of course, something caught his attention: a ship not so far away from the shore, a Casinor to be precise, and with somebody on the deck. More Svefra on the city? Well, that was certainly interesting.

There was no one else on the beach, and even though the view was beautiful, it was quite better to share it with somebody, though it was probably the alcohol thinking instead of Stefan. So, taking a gulp of the drink before corking it again, Stefan took off his shirt, left it on the shore near his boots, and walked towards the shore and to the sea. He started to swim, with the bottle still in his hand, towards the Casinor, no thinking at all if he would be welcome or not.

Quarantine, Svefra Style

The Svefra was so busy trying to fend off the oncoming assult of her Tavan that she had not noticed someone appear on the beach near the lava flow. It was not until she nearly fell in that she even saw someone near by, but by then they were already in the water making their way towards her casinor. Ren lifted a brow as she watched the person swimming towards her, realizing after a moment that it was a man and he had something in his hand... a bottle? Booze maybe? She could only hope it was an offering of alcohol and not some sort of other weird gesture.

Ren stood herself up and squeezed some more water out of her hair as she watched him get closer to her boat, once he was a little closer she called out to him, "If you're sick you should turn around and swim back, I'm in no mood to catch the Flu!" She announced, though she figured if he was capable of swimming as he was, then he was probably healthy and trying to avoid the sick like she was. She was not far off from the beach, but she was not a quick two strokes from it either.

"If you're healthy and there's booze in that bottle then you're welcome to join me, however." She added with a grin as he approached the boat. As he was within the immediate radius of the boat the Svefra's Tavan, a dolphin, began swimming around the man and even nosed him curiously before popping up to the surface to click and squeak at him excitedly.

As the Dolphin examined their guest Ren took the time to scan the beach again, and quickly determined it was just the two of them here. Well, he didn't look Svefra, but he knew how to swim and swim with a bottle, and that was enough to impress this Svefra into allowing him onto her Casinor. And considering he had the balls to swim up here without an invitation was in and of itself admirable. There was always something about people who knew what they wanted that spoke to Ren, being that she was like that as well.

Quarantine, Svefra Style

It was no secret that Stefan felt uneasy around animals, especially big ones, so he was somewhat nervous when the dolphin started to nose him, but as soon as the Tavan stopped, he swam a lot faster towards the boat, even though it meant no harm.

When he was just along the Casinor, Stefan stretched his arms upward to get hold of the edge, and climbed on it, with his legs still in the water. Stefan greeted the Svefra with a polite smile, as he removed the wet hair from his face using his free hand. As he was shirtless, one could see his tattoo; a golden miza on his left shoulder –along with a large, vertical scar on his left bicep –and the phrase “Wine, women & Song” on the side of his left bicep.

Ahoy, lass! Lovely day, isn’t it? Sorry for coming this way, but I’m somewhat drunk, and drinking alone is pure rubbish, so since there wasn’t anyone else... but now, I can’t help but notice how attractive you look from this angle” he chuckled slightly, speaking on Fratava, though with a really thick and odd accent. It wasn’t a proper greeting, but again, he was slightly drunk, so he didn’t paid attention.

With that, Stefan fully climbed the ship, inviting himself in, and sitting on the railing of the home ship, still smiling. “Don’t worry, I’m as healthy as healthy can be. The secret is not drinking the water, so I just drank wine... Bluevein Prime, lass; one of the best things that came out of Riverfall” with that, he uncorked the bottle and offered it to the Svefra “Ladies' first

Stefan knocked on the wood of the ship, and started to talk again “It’s been a while since I saw a Casinor, let alone one of such quality. Slender, elegant, just like its owner.” He complimented, as he managed to get a good look of the Svefra; her raven-black hair was tied into a bun, and she had the Laviku-blessed blue eyes that he knew too well. Her Oceanus mark was not showing, though.

I’m Stefan, by the way; Stefan Teagan. A pleasure!
