General price and trading?

I was planning to create a merchant that would start out trading with wheat.

My plan is to buy it in Syliras and then transport it with a wagon to Zeltiva.

From what I have understood there is an abundance of food in Syliras while in Zeltiva they lack farmland and thus have a lack of food.

In the price list I can see that wheat flour cost 3 GM and wheat corn cost 1cm.

But if I bought it in Syliras, which got lots of it and thus should lower the general prices how much would it sell for in Zeltiva which most likely got a shortage and where I should be able to sell it for more than the general price.

So... anyone got any idea where to look for information or which person on this site that is "officially" in charge with questions like this? Would be a bummer to get an answer from one Mod about a price and then when I finally can try and sell it I have to sell at the general rate anyway and thus lose money in trading due to the travel expenses.

Also, feel free to put in your thoughts on what would be a fair differential in prices.

In the price list, there is a segment on trade goods here. Often, if you wanted to sell for more, you will write it out your PC bargaining with an NPC or another PC in a thread. Its good to have some sort of negotiation of persuasion skills for this. Then, whoever is grading the thread will decide whether you can make more for that particular deal, depending on the amount of effort and skill you put into the bargain. I am pretty sure that you will need to follow the trade goods for your general prices, or contact the Zeltivian ST on it. If you ware worried about money, don't. It seems hard, but on Miz making money to sustain your way of life is relatively easy if you are willing to put the effort into it.

Also, keep in mind that being a merchant and owning a business means you will have to fill out a business plan.

After you fill out your business plan you will need to contact the domain storyteller(s) involved to set it up in their cities. Technically you can set whatever price you'd like for the businesses but the plan might be rejected if its impractically high or low. Additionally, PC's get paid based on their skills per season for the most part, so no matter the price you set you will get an average amount of mizas based on how skilled you are.

The price list is what you would both buy and sell them for. You may buy cheaper with a haggle skill but it would not make a profit in Zeltiva for the cost of the trip. The two cities also already trade.
