34th day of Spring, 514
Rayne found himself wandering the freezing cold city that was Avanthal. Even though he was wearing his coat the bitter cold still made him shiver, he needed to get something more suited toward the cold bitter winds. He’d have to worry about that later, right now he had a mission in mind, not something big. He had been sitting around ever since getting here a few days ago, and recovering too. Now he had a few things to do, and he was sure there were people here who needed help.
If only he could see through this fog that was bothering him, he found this place a pretty nice and welcoming place. Even more so than the only two other cities that he had been to, Sunberth was clearly the polar opposite to this place, and Syliras was far too crowded for people to care about a stranger all too much. Rayne still found he was a little homesick, were his parents worried? How far away was this place anyway? Still as long as a place had people that could need help, he’d stick around. There was now a small hop in his step as he put on a bigger smile, before another ice cold breeze hit him, causing him to shiver once more.
He needed to warm himself up a little; he didn’t even know where he was going. The thick fog made it almost impossible to see where to go...If he knew where to go in the first place. But still, this wasn’t anywhere near close enough to bring Rayne down, the guy would be happy no matter what happened. Maybe a bit of frostbite would slow him down a little though, Rayne really needed to deal with this. He could hear a few people nearby, and decided to follow the noise. It was a seemingly busy area of the city; it had a number of shops. Just what he needed, hopefully there’s a clothing shop nearby, and then he’d be able to get himself another coat.
