Replacing My NPC With PC Mercenary

Hey Mizahar. So here's the deal. I'm looking for someone to replace my NPC with a newly created PC. His name is Bael, a mercenary who originally came from Riverfall on his up way to Kenash to deliver a shipment of slaves. The full story is in Jay's history if you are interested in reading more. More info is in this thread as well. Long story short, Bael got sold into slavery after his arrival in Kenash. The Ackina Dynasty family ended up buying Bael when Jay was no more than 7 years of age. They used Bael's mercenary skills to train Jay into becoming a Bounty Hunter. The PC would be Jay's personal slave, which means they would be Jay's guardian as a boy/protector/teacher. When Jay is an adult, Bael would be his companion. Over the years, the two become less master/slave and have a more father/son/friend type relationship. Bael won't really be treated as a slave and will have certain amounts of freedom with Jay. But he is still technically a slave and will have certain restrictions. Bael is instrumental in Jay's childhood. Since Bael is from outside Kenash, his views are much different than what the Dynasties would have taught their children. Most families teach that slaves have no opinions and are more or less livestock. But since Jay wasn't raised by his parents, Bael was tasked with raising and training him. That means the mercenary's values and opinions were more or less absorbed by the youth. The mercenary was against slavery and what it stood for and was the one who instilled in Jay the idea that just because someone was a slave didn't mean they weren't still important. Bael always told him to put himself in the slaves shoes. Once again, more can be found in Jay's concept/history. As for skills, we can bounce ideas around. But a few that I require are competent in longsword, some tracking xp and intelligence xp. Those three will be used a lot in FB to train Jay. Bael will be around 43 years of age, present time. I really want to focus on Jay's childhood as Bael taught him the different skills he would need to be successful in his trade. Bael would also be able to come with him on slave retrieval jobs in present threads. I am personally very much into combat threads, I enjoy them so be warned, there will be a lot of combat. If you enjoy writing mystery threads than you might enjoy this PC, setting up scenarios for Jay to figure out what happened to train his intelligence/investigation skills.
