50th of Summer 507 A.V, 12th of Bell, Bronze Woods
It was a hot summer day in the lush forest just outside the Fortress City of Peace where a seemingly young girl in simple black robe could be found blitzing through the treeline in a swift sprint. The girl was the Viper Dhani acrobat-reimancer, Soshakuakamamushi or 'Aka' for short. Her jet-black long twin ponytails trailing behind her as the diminutive figure moved with speed that outmatched most common men, being inherently swift and agile.
The Viper was not being chased by predators or got into trouble with a Knight or anything shady like that, this particular run was on her own volition, sh was practicing her endurance and acrobatics arts, rather than being cooped up in the stone cage of a city, she better hone her parkour skills. For a Viper, Aka was severely lacking in terms of fluid body movements, sure she could move fast, but it didn't mean she could control them gracefully, heck, a human boy named 'Finn' defeated her as she found out the hard way just a week ago. Long story short, Finn ended up becoming her teacher and she learned a lot from him, but... her pride was hurt, how could a century-old Dhani lose to a short-lived human? Unacceptable, Aka had accepted her defeat and she used it as a motivation to train harder.
"Hmph!" Ducking low and skidding on the ground, the Viper dodged a low hanging branch then picked up her speed once more, she saw a root jutting out from the ground and planned her next move. It was the perfect chance to practice her jump. Flexing her legs, Aka raised her arms above her head as she launched herself forward, soaring above the root horizontally, she landed with both of her hands planted to the ground then did a forward flip, finally finished with her feet on the ground, Aka righted herself then slowed down her sprint, until she came to a full stop beside a large tree bark.
"Ha... huff... phew..." The Viper caught her breath as she examined her surroundings with her tunneling - due to adrenaline - vision. "Er..." It seemed she brought herself into a setback, she never ventured into this particular part of the Woods before, she was lost, but... no matter, she could always turn into her snake form and use her keen senses to back-track home, but still... predators always loomed about as proven by a mountain lion attacking her earlier in the season, she must always keep herself sharp. Aka wasn't very keen on casting magic today, last time she did it, she almost caused a forest fire... pretty sure those armored louts would kill her for this high treason against nature. They were a twitchy bunch, she had to admit.
Taking the time to recuperate, Aka leaned her back on the tree as she slowly slid down into a sitting position, watching the beautiful forest around her.
