Elina's Endeavor

Elina slowly opened up her eye lids, wishing that the time was not what it actually was. On most days she would still wait another two bells before getting ready to head to work. Today was different however. Elina was slowly realizing that using a Ravosala nearly every day just to get to work very quickly lightened her purse. Not by much, but for someone who needs as much coin as possible it made Elina uneasy. Back in Syliras Elina had used a bit of her skills to get around the city in other, unique, ways. Ravok's close buildings and flat roofs made this a perfect place to experiment such skills on. With any luck Elina could find a faster way to work and cheaper.
Inside the Boarding house Elina slowly got out of bed to stretch her arms and legs. The woman was starting to think maybe this was not such a good idea after all. I mean, how much is it really going to cost to just take a ride every day. She could end up getting lost and not have to get up two damn bells earlier. Inside the room Elina slowly made her way to fix herself up, yelling at herself for doing such a stupid plan the entire time. If she kept this up Eyris would come down and kill her for just how stupid she was being, who would get themselves up earlier just for quicker route to work. Softly the woman sighed, "Its not going to get any better if I keep complaining about it," she thought to herself.
After fixing her hair into a ponytail as well as getting her work pants, shirt and boots on the weaponsmith was ready to find a way to her job. Elina figured the best way to get to get on top was to head through the window, as her room was on the top floor. Making sure the straps on her backpack were tightened as to not get in the way, Elina opened up the window of her room. The sun was just beginning to rise, even if the adjacent building blocked most of the light, just above the edge one could see light being blocked off. It would make a good view once Elina reached the top of her own building, no time to admire the view now.
Naturaly Elina's heart was bounding at the slow realization that she was going to be climbing up a building. Now, she was a strong woman but was this really right? Yes it may only be one floor then home free, yet Elina couldn't help but worry about falling into that water. Still not knowing how to swim it was certainly a terrifying event to think about. Elina took a deep breath and sat onto the window sill facing inside. Knowing it was now or never Elina reached her hands up to the top of the window, grasping her fingers around a hole created in the design of the windows. Using this for leverage she pulled herself up, placing her feet on the windowsill.
Slowly she reached her right arm up above her head to another outward facing design. Elina pulled her hand down to make sure it was sturdy and lifted her left leg onto one of the curves of the window. Following this pattern of left then right she began to ascend upwards. Along the top of the building were curves used to help create wave like patterns. Inbetwen the 'waves' Elina got a hand hold and pulled herself up, the sun hitting the back end of her neck and arms now. Using the larger waves to help bring her legs closer to the top, so there was a less room her foot would need to travel. Elina shut her eyes for a chime to regain her strength before she pulled up with all her strength to fling her body over the top.
The woman sat on the roof of the boarding house for a few chimes before realizing what happened. "YES! Hell yes! I did it! Wooo!" She screamed out from the top of the building. "Thats how we do it! Yeah!" jumping up in the air from sheer excitement the new found energy filled her body, it was hard to stop herself from running off the edge and down to the water in her excitement. A smile filled her face as she looked around from the top of the Boarding house. Ravok gave off a different view from up here. "Much more wood, and less water". Elina thought to herself. It was true, the building seemed to stretch on until there was a sudden drop, the gaps between houses were hardly seen.
Having finally reached her first goal Elina had to now figure out, were to go next. Obviously she knew her goal was to reach the Temple so she could get to work, but the woman clearly couldn't just go in a straight line! To her right was a set of buildings that, from the looks of it, went in generally the way towards the Temple. Tugging on the backpack straps Elina got ready to continue her little journey.
