Stark Naked & Starstruck Stark Naked & Starstruck, despite its humorous name is a topsy turvy building of deep purple and a safe haven for dreamers and artists alike. Not the average bathhouse, even in Alvadas it is seen as something magical, a place of wonder. Run by an Ethaefal named Vela, this location is most easily spotted during the hours of dusk and dawn. Windows and arches are seen from the outside, decorating the exterior with meticulous detail, although if a peeping tom was to try and look inside, they would be sorely disappointed.Those who do aim to get a glimpse often find themselves terrified, with grotesque or creepy images popping out at them from behind the glass. Even the windows are said to be set illusions, only there for aesthetic purposes, as the baths themselves are completely windowless. Stark Naked & Starstruck boasts of its privacy and attention to detail, leaving you with the finest experience possible. When one enters this shop, the smell of sweet incense and candles burning wafts through the air. The floor is a smooth marble, and in the far corner is a rounded wooden desk with Vela often standing behind it, greeting customers with a sly smile and sensual voice. The decorations themselves vary, changing each season, just as Vela changes herself. But no matter what color the plush cushions or velvet curtains in the front lounge may be, every item is beautiful to look upon. In the back is a large, public bath with a high ceiling, often chosen for those who want a quick clean up. There are two hallways leading to this expansive room, one for men and women to undress separately and enter. When they are ready, they will walk through white doors that open up to reveal an enormous pool, dimly lit and glowing. The entirety of the water is pitch black, imitating the night sky. Tiny specks of light dance, swirl, and ripple across the surface, as if one can float among the stars themselves when bathing. Whether to wash yourself or relax, Stark Naked & Starstruck patrons are notorious for losing track of time when they visit. If a public bath is not your style, there are private rooms upstairs for the modest patron or frequent honeymoon couple, each with a differently colored door, painted to represent the waters themselves. A teal one may be the aurora borealis, a pink or orange one the sky at sunset, a purple door the deep galaxy... Each is a mystery and delight. However, these private baths are not usually cheap, perhaps even being the more expensive bathing experiences in Mizahar. Prices may fluctuate depending on Vela's mood, although unlikely. Towards the end of the day and at night when Viras takes over, these arrangements are twice as rare unless they are important figures in town. Priests of Ionu can bathe for free. For those who need a soothing hand to help them relax, private massage rooms are also located below Starstruck's main lobby, insulated from the busy bustle of the Alvadas above. Each of them are filled with serene and comfortable environments, all allowing a client to escape from the stresses of everyday life into a world of relaxation and tranquility. Everything about them emanates a sense of warmth and relief, from the therapeutic scents of blossoms and spice flowing though the air to the sounds of a soothing waterfalls and calming ocean waves. Friendly and outgoing, she makes it well known that she enjoys the finer things in life, and tries to share that philosophy with those that come through the door. Unashamed by nudity or the like, her beauty radiates in the lilting way she talks and how she seems to glide across the floor when greeting customers. Many say that she wears a mask, devastated by her fall, trying to find ways to supplement her lose, turning to Ionu's illusions to ease the pain. Behind her back, Stark Naked & Starstruck is known as "Vela's Heartbreak", with rumors claiming that the starry waters and sky baths are manifestations of what she still yearns for. Even with her successes in Alvadas, not much is known about her past, with the coy woman finding creative ways to avoid subjects regarding such "trivial matters". A wirey, blonde haired Svefra before her fall, Vela was once known as Lavitri, a male with a passion for song and swimming. Many suspect her night worker, Viras to really be Vela after dark, but their contrast in personalities makes the comparison a far stretch to most. Always seen with nappy, ill-fitting clothes, and hair in a rat's nest, it is a wonder how one could look so dirty and be employed at such a fine establishment. Almost the complete opposite of Vela, he is sarcastic and not nearly as sociable. When the Svefra does engage customers in conversation, it is usually to discuss business, or if he is in a good mood, to occupy his interests in weaving a web of white lied stories. One could reason that is why Vela likes him so much, that is, if he's not her after dark. After all, the two are never seen in the same room at once, but they swear that Vela handles the charm, and he handles the coin. If one asks about Viras' past, he often grumbles an incoherent reply, ignores the question completely, or points you to the bath or to the door.
