Shane had been walking among the Riverfallians for several days now and he was starting to wonder about the city. It was such a wonderful paradise that he wished to know how it had come to be this way. What grand battles had taken place to turn the city into the wonder it was now. There was actually a very long list of things he would quite like to know about the city besides such as who was in charge, how it was run, who were there enemies and much more. He wanted, no he needed, to acclimatise to the city. He needed to know as much as the average citizen did. He truly, truly wanted to be a Riverfallian.
And the best place to do that was clearly the library! So he had asked someone where the library was and set off for it. They had told him it was completely free and accesable by everyone. Wow! The library in Syliras had been for the Knighthood only. The closest collection of books to that had been the store he had worked in; The Undeniable Interests. Most of the books there had just been fairy-tales Avira had written down though so not much information.
Shane entered the quiet library stealthily. He was not here to steal or ninja about but the quiet for some reason just made him want to creep. He didn't want to make even the slightest sound to break the lulling quiet of the library. He was, however, completely stunned by the rows and rows of books on the shelves. He could sit here for hours, days, months, years! He could learn and learn and learn about everything. He could see archways and multiple levels to even more books. He was awestruck and suddenly very lost. What kind of order were the books in? How would he find his way around? He couldn't see any signs. He needed to find some kind of librarian right away!
