Cliffside, in addition to being the second major paper making facility on Black Rock, is also a small complex within the Crag that houses a large chunk of Black Rock's Myrian population. Almost all of the inhabitants are form the Dancing Dead, though they welcome visiting Myrians of different clans with open arms as well. There are several rooms set up much like longhouses back in Taloba with what furniture people were able to find, make, and fit within the cavern walls, and deeper within the complex lies several rooms devoted to paper making. Cliffside does not consider Simylaissen's process of flattening and adhesing reeds together true 'papermaking,' a subject of much debate around the isle. Their process includes the head of the reed from the Black Marsh, as well as other plant fibers, which is then turned to pulp, strained and pressed in wooden frames and through mesh. During this process often dyes are introduced to the paper and Cliffside is constantly experimenting with new colors, the dyes often obtained from trades with people who buy their paper.
The feud between Cliffside and Simylaissen is one that is always on the lips of the workers at Cliffside and many inhabitants of the isle. Sariah of the Dancing Dead, the lead paper maker, while very competitive with Simylaissen for obtaining business, is extremely against agitation created between the feud between Myrians and Dhani, something at times hard to distinguish in the competition between the two rival workshops.

Other: Sariah of the Dancing Dead is a skilled paper maker and a strong leader to those of her clan upon Dira's Isle. She is always ready with a smile and a word of encouragement, but those that know her also have a healthy fear for the wrath the woman can summon up in an instant. This mostly only occurs when it comes to fights over paper deals between Cliffside and Simylaissen, but most are careful to always stay on her good side regardless.

Cliffside creates same sized leaves of paper, and cannot expand upon the sizes as Simylaissen can, but neither can the Dhani dye their reeds as the Myrians of Cliffside are able to do to their paper.
