12th of Spring

The day began as it always has. Logan woke up from his bed and brushed his teeth. He moved the furniture around in his home to make the rooms a little larger, then he began doing a few push ups. He got down on all fours, his legs stretched out, and pushed himself up from the ground. He continued to do this until he got to the number 100. It was odd how Logan could do that much amount of push ups and not break a sweat. It wasn't extensive work, but his muscles did feel weaker, yet stronger, afterwards.

After doing his push ups, he moved to pull ups. He got on his back and began lifting his torso up and back down until his abs felt as his muscles. It wasn't until he was done with his pull ups that he placed on his clothing. He made sure that he smelled as decent as Sunberth would allow, then he left his home.

Today he vowed that he would spend the day collecting more rations for his home, so Logan began jogging to the market. He figured that this would also be a perfect time to build up his body since it would be a while before his next job. He made his way to the seaside market, enjoying the sight of every woman he passed along the way.

He didn't know what he was going to get and cook today, maybe he would just eat an apple and save the trouble of chewing on charred food. Maybe one day he would find someone not as lazy as he was to cook for him.

Logan stopped in the middle of his run to catch his breath. The streets were packed with people for some reason. By the crowd, Logan could tell that it would be hard to catch up with someone if they were running away from him. He had to make sure that he kept tabs on his coins, because he would lose them forever if he didn't. Thus was the law of Sunberth.

[Tall Johnny] Things Get Weird [Julia Tristal]

Tall Johnny's Casino was just a hotspot of people ignorant of their gold, throwing it all away on bets and were more likely to lose it all rather than winning it big, though the fights were fairly entertaining. As much as Julia loves watching the fights she loves a bit of extra gold even more-so.

The streets outside were quite packed with people going in and out the casino. Julia would frequent this place from time to time, targeting the ones that were going towards the casino, it was rather counter-productive to steal from the ones leaving the casino. They probably have no gold left after their little stint into the casino.

Well... unless she can find a rather happy looking patron leaving the casino which is a very juicy target, usually she would try to lay low. She wouldn't want the wrath of Tall Johnny's goons to come after her for stealing his costumer's betting money, would she?

She had been waiting around the area for a little bit, no one had been extremely tempting for her, so this seemed like a waste of time. That is, until she was a rather physically fit muscular man making his way through the streets, usually if he can keep a physique like that, he must have some money.

Time to get to work. She moved through the crowd, bumping into them and trying to get pass before her target gets away. She bridged the gap, but stumbled while she was in pursuit.

Julia was right behind him, seeing his pockets unguarded, she reached in slowly, trying to keep him from noticing she was there. Unlucky for her though is that someone had bumped into her, forcing her hand deeper into his pockets and honestly, the only way he wouldn't of noticed her now is if someone else would distract him for her to make her escape.

"Ummm... Hello..." She gave a nervous but innocent smile. "I... umm... was just... checking to see if... I got nothing. I was trying to lighten up your purse, but so is half the city, so I can't say I'm ashamed, just somewhat disappointed." She said with a goofy grin, maybe she can pass off as a mischievous and get away scot free.

Logan had stopped to rest his body. He was soon regretting that. As he rested near a wall to catch his breath he felt something ruffle through his pocket. It was a human hand, Logan knew. There was no bug or animal so large/small enough to shake his pants like that. Before he could turn around to kill- see who it was that was digging through his pants, the person dug even deeper into Logan's pocket, prompting him to jump away from the pick pocketer.

However, whoever this thief or defiler was wouldn't get away so easily. He quickly grabbed the foes wrist and turned to get a good look of his new victim. To his surprise, the person who dug through his pants was a girl, much younger than him. She had emerald eyes and golden hair. She was up to Logan's height, though not as tall.

The girl tried to fool Logan with some half-thoughtful excuse, but petched cleverly lying and told him the truth. Her words made Logan narrow his eyes even more to her. He didn't mind the fact that she was a thief, he had stolen himself when he was around this girls age. Albeit, the people he stole from where drunkards who could barely fight back, not large men who looked like they could beat him down with one finger, which is what Logan considered himself.

What Logan did mind was that she stole from HIM. After setting up a reputation for so long, he would not have it ruined by a girl, no matter how good looking she was. He gave her a hard cold look while he held tight to her wrist.

"I don't think I'll let you off so easy with the justification that, 'everyone does it.' I owe you a negative consequence so that you'll know not to deal with me in the future."

Logan paused to think. He didn't know this girl very well, so he couldn't think of a punishment that would affect her horribly, other than beating her down.

She smiled at the large man that was probably going to cave her face in. "A negative consequence? Hmmm... Let me think..." She paused and placed her free hand on her chin, in mock contemplation.

"I got nothing, I could bring color to you drab uneventful life by providing humorous commentary about everyday events." She coughed into her hand. "And we see, our strapping young hero, catch a rather beautiful and very talented thief from lifting a bit of coin from his pocket to help her sick mother." She said with a fake narrator voice. "I'm kidding."

She gave him a small innocent look. "Oh lighten up, mister hairy." She said and rubbed Logan's beard. "I'm just messing around. Look, my name is Julia Tristal, just another kid trying to get by, so be a doll and let me go, would ya? No, fine. Be that way..."

Get him mad, get him to punch you... make him miss and go for a cheap shot in the jewels, that should break his grip, or maybe bite his hand.

No matter how big or tough someone can be, there will always be an exposed part somewhere on their body, and usually teeth work pretty well in making people drop something they were holding.

"You're just a big dumb... bully!" She pouted and looked away. Woah, that was the worst insult I've ever thrown She thought and looked up at him, her cheeks all puffed out and slightly blushing in fake anger.
