Race: Human Gender: Male Age: 40 Birthday: 4, Summer, 475 Birthplace: Lhavit
Appearance:
At 6'4" Kaizer is a tall and well built man, he has a strong chiseled face, a lively set of eyes, and a deep voice that carries well.
Character Concept
As a man of education Kaizer is also very refined in speech, manner, and carries himself with an air of dignity. Always the gentleman he has a strict moral code from which is rarely deviated from. Though not the type to normally look down at others, Kaizer has a notable distaste for crude and base behavior. In his mind there is a proper way to act and behave. One doesn't have to be as refined as Kaizer to earn respect, but he has little time or patience for people who act like hooligans.
Normally Kaizer is a very outgoing person who is easy to get along with. He can also be generous, almost to a fault at times, and won't hesitate to stand up for someone who is being mistreated. Law, order, and justice are paramount to good government, and something Kaizer strongly believes in. As a child Heinrik, his father, instilled a strong sense or right and wrong. Along with that Kaizer was taught that it was his duty to help those in need, look out for people who are being taken advantage of, and set an example for others through word, deed, and action. This is one of the reasons he rarely acts on impulse and considers the consequences of all actions before taking them, when there's time.
Despite these qualities Kaizer does have a dark side like everyone else, unfortunately his is a lot closer to the surface than most. When angered or offended to the point this side of his personality surfaces, Kaizer can be violent, vicious, and even cruel to those that cross him. Because of its intensity this side of his personality is tightly controlled. Though never experiencing any great tragedy in life, Kaizer has the capability to be incredibly cold and ruthless. It's not something he's proud of and when like this he can, and often does, things that will eventually be regretted.
An avid consumer of knowledge, Kaizer enjoys not only acquiring it, but sharing it as well. The one goals that drives Kaizer above all else is the acquisition of knowledge in all it's many forms. This is one of the reasons Kaizer has started to learn mathematics, he understands that the world operates on a mathematical system more than most people realize. Beyond this he knows that the road to greater knowledge is also through mathematics and with it he seeks to understand as much as possible.
Character History
Kaizer was born the son of Heinrik and Alissa Dragos in the Summer of 475, unfortunately his entrance into the world of Mizahar was one marked by tragedy. Though born in region of Lhavit, Kaizer's mother gave birth on a ship as the family moved from Zeltiva. The birth was hard on Alissa, much harder than it should have been, and not long before they made port she passed away.
As a child Kaizer was quite the handful, energetic, curious, playful, and usually causing mischief. While Heinrik was a strict and firm, he was also kind and possessed of a good sense of humor. While he would admonish Kaizer's shenanigans in public the two would often have a good laugh in secret. However, this didn't mean Heinrik never punished his son, and when things crossed the line he very well would. Growing up one sound Kaizer hated more than anything, was the sound of his father's belt sliding out of the loops on his pants.
As the son of a merchant he learned to read, write, and do basic mathematics at an early age, often helping Heinrik at work. It wasn't simply because this was expected of Kaizer, something else he was taught was a strong work ethic. One of the many things he admired about Heinrik was the man's skill as a merchant and convincing someone they needed to buy something. “I swear that man could've sold sand to a Benshira.”
The family dynamic changed when Kaizer was ten and his father remarried, taking a woman named Valea as a spouse. At first things were strained between the two as he very well tested the woman's boundaries in terms of what one could get away with. The two eventually found common ground and over the years became quite close. Heinrik had allowed his son to refer to her as Valea, not wanting to force the mother issue. By treating Kaizer with love, kindness, and fair discipline, by the age of twelve he was calling her mother by choice.
As a young man Kaizer also went through quite a few 'almost' careers before finding his calling. This was something that Heinrik supported, knowing his son needed time to find his path in life, and even sponsored these ventures. Some examples include his career as an artist which lasted all of two months before being abandon entirely. Then came his tenure as a wilderness guide, which ended when he was attacked by a wild animal, one that may well have killed him had Heinrik not clubbed it to death.
By the age of sixteen he finally settled on wanting to be a teacher. Having always loved acquiring knowledge he also found great enjoyment in sharing it with others, especially seeing the look of wonder on a person's face as their mind grasped a new idea. Thus he became a teacher and spent many years living a simple, honest life.
In the spring of 513 Heinrik passed away at the age of 93 from natural causes, and while the man's passed was a hard blow, it was neither sudden nor unexpected. Though still hard, because the two knew his end was near and had a chance to say their goodbyes, it was something Kaizer was eventually able to come to terms with and accept. Four years earlier Valea had passed away under similar circumstances leaving him alone in the world.
While Kaizer had quite a few romantic interests in the past, he'd yet to settle down and start a family of his own. Because of this, the death of Heinrik made it all too clear to him that time was ticking away. Family is something that is important to Kaizer and he'd like to be a husband and father one day, he simply hasn't found the right woman yet.

The 13 pages that are filled have professionally sketched drawings of his family on the front, and information about those in the picture on the back. The book chronicles the last thirteen generations of Kaizer's family following the line of the firstborn son. The book is also kept in a iron, waterproof case to protect it against the elements.
