The only real trait a normal person could recognize are his eyes. A deep, flawless onyx pool of something more serious than he was ever willing to indulge. They would dart quickly, yet smoothly over your face, arms, clothing, hair, hands, quietly taking everything in while his simple mouth would speak at you. He has a bird's eye, extremely adapt at taking in details up close, and distinguishing accurately from a distance. Yet your eyes never seem to look too intensely into his. Instead they would drift elsewhere. To his hair, dark, plump, and full, but just as wild as expected for someone his age. If you are lucky you might even catch a twig or two rooted far inside. Or to his jaw, that looked permanently swollen, yet somehow that look fit him, made him look older than he actually was, it gave him a bit of maturity where none else could be found.
Following his short neck the rest of his hardened body came. He has a stocky build that makes him look shorter than he truly is. When in fact he is just as tall, and sometimes taller than the condensed Inartians he spent most of his time around. His arms are the largest of his muscles, his shoulders round and sending cascades of muscle to his forearms. The constant beating of wings that flying demanded did a great deal to his physique. His legs were next, employed mainly in tightly gripping wriggling prey, it came down to live or die, and so his legs are fully equipped for the challenge. Finally his torso is in moderate shape, enough muscle surrounds his rib cage to fill out the rest of his body to proportion. However he also made sure to store enough fat to live outside during the harsh Winters with only his feathers to help with warmth.
Finally his dark hair changed to form black streaks in his feathers. The rest of his plumage was a deep golden brown. His arms turned into huge, powerful wings that were more than double his small birds body in length. His legs transformed into small sticks capable of gripping pounds of live animal, restricting it from escape. These legs were equipped with shiny talons as sharp as knives. His simple mouth instead became a sharp grey beak with the ability to snap bone in an instant. Although, overall, his body was much smaller in comparison to his human form, but many times more dangerous.
