Shahar Dawnwhisper is a professional hunter by trade, with expert-level hunting and tracking. While he has the skill to find and kill many types of prey, the fact that he is only one person is, in itself, somewhat prohibitive. For this reason, Shahar is on the lookout for an apprentice, someone who is willing to learn the ropes of his trade and help him hunt on a scale that he otherwise could not.
As a teacher, Shahar is no-nonsense and generally straightforward; he will freely give instruction on what he knows about, but has a low threshold for fooling around. When it comes to a hunt, he values efficiency and safety over everything else, and greatly appreciates those who value the same.
IC, I’d prefer it if Shahar and apprentice had at least two threads together per season, which could also double as job threads if you’d like (assuming your PC is actively employed as a hunter.) He is primarily gruff as a co-hunter and teacher, preferring to minimize small talk, but with a bit of effort someone can muscle their way past that tough skin of his and get at the warm mushy stuff inside.
