Retra stared at the pile of papers, she was nibbling her finger and managing to mumble as she stared. Each paper had scribbles that are supposed to be different weapon, that most likely will never come into an existence... The only project she is currently working on is the glass arrow head. Which... Is currently a... Struggling project. Mainly because she can't make a head with out six different huge bubbles. She continued to mumble as she removed her finger from her mouth and started shifting the papers around, staring at them. Some of the saliva that gathered on her finger began to moisten the papers, some of them where aged, brown and torn, drawn back when she first started tinker.
She gathered up some of the older designs and crumpled them up or tear them down the middle. No need for such... Barbaric and impractical designs... She laughed slightly as she stared at them, who would ever need a double bladed knife that breaks swords when her weapons are meant to be used against monsters? She paused her purging of ideas and stared at the papers... What would happen if some one were to use her weapons against a citizen? She wanted her weapons to be used against and only against monsters... So one day people might not have to sit behind walls in the cities and be in a constant fear while in forests...
She shook her head and continued to purge the pile of papers. Ridding the bad ideas and impractical ones from the idea of rather good ideas... In the sense that they are highly experimental and could be built. Could... That is, the making of weapons is a completely different animal. A very wild and crazy animal. One that consists of a lot of re-forging and a lot of disappointment. But once you tame that wild and crazy animal it is quite satisfying. Retra shook her head again, trying to focus on what she wanted to do, purging.
She completed the purge after a couple of minutes and took out a new piece of paper, where she took some charcoal and started to write down her idea, mumbling as she translated her thoughts into paper. She started to draw a knife... Looking thing. It looks like it is mixed with a axe as well, getting a curved blade. She decided she would call it the Saxe, a mixture of the words axe and knife. She added a small cross guard and serrated edge, just below the ending of the curve. She nodded, she decided she would keep this, it would be 'her' weapon. A weapon that she and she alone would have. Though she realized she would not actually make it, not for a while.
