The Bungalows

Built by Randal Zor, these twelve bungalows vary only slightly from one another. Made as temporary housing the two room little homes offer a great deal of comfort for the visitor who is trying to get established. The porches, decks and entrances vary slightly as each building is located on a different plot of land with different needs. Each building is built on raised platform creating shade and additional living space beneath. The bungalows are divided up into two main rooms, a living area and a sleeping area. The sleeping area is completely enclosed on three sides and open to the living area on one side. The living area is open to the wilds and allows fresh air to circulate beneath thatched or tin roofing. The bungalows come with furnishings and linens which Randal expects to be kept clean.

To claim one, all one has to do is simply move in. If he finds the capacity exceeded and the bungalows filled, Randal will build more. He will be by to collect rent which is due every season on the last day to the sum of 100 gold. These accommodations are considered 'good' by Syka's standards and run cheaper than an Inn or Tavern rate in most cities. If rent cannot be paid, the squatter will be put to work as a servant to Syka until the debt is paid and any debt accrued during their indenture. Renters are required to pay for all damages to the Bungalow while they are renting.

Bungalows can be purchased and owned for the sum of 850 GM. The furniture is NOT included in the purchase.

Beneath each bungalow is an additional living/storage area where furniture can be placed or visitors can camp out. While not having an indoor privy, each bungalow has an outhouse and an outdoor shower attached to a cistern that collects and heats water on the bungalow's roof.

Most bungalows are on the beach or just off the sand and have an outdoor firepit and seating on the sand or with a view of the water.
