A Morning Accident 21st of summer 516AV
Epifanio was not always the morning person. Infact more often than not be would only be asleep early due to drinking or passing out from over exertion, though luckily in the prior situation he would most always be in a bed already.
This morning started like all others. Him rolling out of his bed from the chirps and musical jamboree of fellow snowsong. He couldn't likely complain cause more often than not be would play late at night. Though most thought he did such just to spite the others of the hold. Today though, it seemed beautiful enough to venture outside. After gathering his prized Eisen, his bow, flute, and coat... He headed out to the wonderful bright white. Soft snow was pushed with the slightest breeze giving the hint that it had once again snowed the night before.
As walking he couldn't help but thinking of the person who had crafted his flute. What was he name again. Looking down at his sleeve and the attached flute across his arm he saw the initials Ah. With a sudden burst of memory he spoke out to himself. "AH how could I forget. The devil that led me on." It wasn't often that such was the case. Though he enjoyed the game. If at all that was her intention. He knew that as an outsider she might be staying at the Warren's, though he couldn't be so sure.
After arriving he simply say outside on a conveniently placed bench underneath a portion where the roof stuck out from the entrance to protect it from being snowed in. After touching the snow and calling upon his gift from morwen he concentrated it and turned some of the snow blocking the door into water. The water quickly became a slush, but little did he know from his inexperience some of his concentration over gave and traveled upward slightly melting some of the firmer snow above the roof. Though he didn't notice.
After sitting back down on the bench he took out his beloved Eisen and started to play it. A simple chilling melody that worked with the wind, it gave the area a musical touch that people playing by immediately could tell it as Epifanio. The bard plucked at strings in-between slight breaths into his flute which gave the music a cheerful and upbeat tone. Before long the bard was once again zones into the music. His palms gently tapped against the base of the gamba while his legs and knees moved with every tone.
Then the singing. Something he hadn't attempted before. In-between breaths of playing his flute, flooding his bow against the delicate strings of Eisen, he sung. The beautiful vantha language was like a melody in and of itself. Tones of deep baritone meet with light and prolonged touches of notes on Eisen. Then the flute. Every descendo was met by a similar key of notes which got deeper and deeper.
The musical performance was getting louder and louder as snow began to almost shake from above the roof of the Warrens. That was when some unlucky person decided to open the door and leave the safe comforts of the building. That was when probably a good 2 feet of snow came sliding down and crashed onto the person. Epifanio, the bard and sometimes jokester that he was started to laugh and played a series of notes that Descended into the unfortunate persons humility. After laughing and smacking his knees in response he set Eisen in his case and approached. Still laughing.
"I've not seen something so funny in a while! Let me repay you with a performance at the red diamond Tavern "
Ofcourse he had no idea from the snow covered face that he had already done said performance before.
