Hearing the snap of the bow as another arrow was loosed towards the make shift target Red moved away from the fut door. It had been close to a hour with no sign of the hunting wolves, but with what the storm was doing it should keep the dogs busy trying to survive rather then hunt.
Turning towards Ker with a better feeling of safety he watched her form with the bow. It was by far not perfect, but at least she was able to release a arrow in the right area "hows your lip?". Red started searching through the cave for some more dry wood to try and get a small fire burning, for he could feel the cold on him still and was sure that Ker could feel it too.
"take your time with your aim, don't rush it" Red found himself trying to keep busy to keep himself from the painful thoughts of what might of happened to Daghul. "Try standing with your feet shoulder length apart, and keep your body straight" he took the stance using one of the small sticks he found as a imaginary bow "and with your releasing hand if you use only the tips of your fingers it will make it easy to keep your release clean". After he spoke he went to building his fire, once again keeping some of his mind on her. Giving her something to do, and for that mater something for him, would help keep their minds off how much danger they were in.
