Everyone knows that traveling through the Wildlands around Lake Ravok can be treacherous. However, journeys must be made and one can’t just up and take a week-long excursion on prayers and good intentions. The Wulfstan family has stepped up in the gap to provide travelers, adventurers and soldiers alike with gear and know-how for generations. The business was started by a man named Magnus Wulfstan almost one hundred years ago. He was an adventurer, an outdoorsman and a student of nature.

The story goes that Magnus was originally from Zeltiva and didn’t care for the smell of the city so he braved the elements, the terrain and the beasts to travel north through the mountain pass. He fought and clawed his way through hill and dale, bog and beast until he reached the great lake with a pristine city seated in the center. Impressed by the order of Ravok and swept away by the beautiful countryside, he settled, married and devoted his life to helping the lake folk truly experience the great outdoors. His little shack started selling the basics but quickly grew to more specialized items as Rhysol’s city grew.

His son and grandson have all followed in the footsteps of being a hearty man of the wilds but that chain was broken when Magnus’ great-grandson was thrown from a horse at the young age of eight. His leg was broken and twisted in such a way that the closest healer could only partially reassemble the bones. Left with a limp and a fear of wild things, the great-grandson, Rigel, dedicated his life to learning how to run a business. He viewed his accident as a blessing from Rhysol, a gift hidden within a curse.

When it came time for him to take over, the handicapped young man proved his mettle by adjusting bits and pieces of his family’s legacy and improved nearly every aspect of the endeavor. Rigel was so prosperous that he recently expanded the Wulfstan franchise to include a shack located in the North Ravok Outpost which is run by his little sister, Hannah. Currently, both locations do a great service (and a great deal of business) with the people who call Ravok home. One can find all manner of equipment that is needed when spending time in the Wildlands. Prices are fair and most stock is replenished regularly.

The Wulfstan homestead is directly across from Sheng's Inn and Storage. The one-story cabin has a large covered porch, a front door and a side access which goes directly into the storage room. It is simple in its construction but sturdy. Inside is a large single room with an office to the left and a storage room to the right. Both of these rooms are kept locked up tight even when the store is open. Rigel's father was the first to offer a discount to Ebonstryfe and Black Sun members in exchange for a little extra vigilance during patrols. The outfitter has not been robbed in over thirty years.

:::Inventory:::

The main room is well-organized and lined with shelves and displays of all manner of goods. There is nothing flashy or extravagant done to advertise products. Those who enter come in search of useful goods so the Wulfstans have always kept their business practical in both what they stock and how the inventory is stored. Empty crates, baskets and bags are kept in an island arrangement just inside the front door so that customers may grab one to carry their other items while they shop. Tents, tarps, netting and blankets are kept on a shelf towards the back wall. Next to this are shelves of fishing and hunting supplies which are rotated on the shelves based upon the season. There's a large set of tables with assorted blades and tools which sit in the middle of the room and the front wall towards the storage room is lined with shelves and shelves of smaller items like lanterns, gloves, various oils and candles, rations, water additives and much much more. There's a small board with a few pieces of paper hanging on it by the counter. Rigel will occasionally tack up side jobs for patrons who could use an extra Miz or two.

***PM ST with any questions regarding inventory or pricing. All sales are based upon the Price List. Ebonstryfe and Black Sun members receive a 10% discount.
