Name: Unpronounceable in English Nickname: Nyx Race: Zith Birthday: 13th day of Winter, 501 AV Place of birth: Hai, Eyktol Age: 9 years old Height: 4,9 feet Weight: 104 lbs Physical description Nyx is a typical Zith with her silky fur skin that's toned midnight black. Her body is not muscled, but she's very limber. She wares a scar which crosses her left eye vertically. As every Zith, she has patches of hair growing from her elbows knees, which in Nyx her case are the same color as her skin. Nyx cuts the patches on her knees often though, as they are very distinctive for a Zith and she knows Zith aren't trusted by most other races. She covers the rest of her body in a black, linnen cloak. Her batlike wings are deep blue and perfectly match her deep blue hair. Nyx often ties her hair back in a tail, so it stays under her cloak. If her hair isn't tied back, it's long enough to touch the lower side of her back. Personality: Nyx has a rigid personality and a bad sense of humor. It's rare to see her laugh as she thinks laughing is a waste of time and it distracts her from her goals. She strives to be the perfect criminal, likes she remembers her parents. Nyx has bad social skills, she acts rude most of the time and doesn't trust anyone. Despite of these aspects, she can be very loyal if you get close to her. Nyx is used to getting what she want, when she want it and may sometimes act like she's the queen of the world, or like a spoiled brat, whatever you prefer. Most of the time Nyx is angry and easily agitated, she doesn't fear to fight and once started, she won't stop untill she's to wounded to continue. Nyx has a great passion for poisonous herbs, which she finds is the best way to slay your victims. Whenever she's on a criminal mission, she polishes the claws on her hand with poison, which gives her a handy weapon, besides the dagger she got from her father. Most of the time the poison on her claws isn't deadly, but will make her victim ill or paralyzes them. Though she often seems to be cold and angry, she is quite emotional, but she has a heard time dealing with her emotions, which often leads to surprisingly situations, even to her.

The first year of Nyx and Erebus Twas the 13th day of Winter and a blizzard was raving outside, but in the house of Venom and Tenebras, Nyx' parents, it was warm and comfortable and they didn't even notice the blizzard as Venom was busy giving birth to twins, a girl and a boy, who would later be named Nyx and Erebus. They were not the first offspring of Venom and Tenebras, and Nyx and Erebus already had 6 brothers and 12 sisters, which were all twins. Their first years were quite careless, Nyx and Erebus played a lot with their siblings, mostly inside their house, as the streets of Hai were not save for children. The family was not poor, but they did not live in wealth, as there were many mouths to fill. Tenebras and Venom made a living with criminal activities, and though they were not bad, they were not outstanding either, not better then other criminals in Hai. Silas [NPC] The family also had slaves, creatures of the human race which were mostly enslaved by Venom, who loved to hunt humans. The amount of slaves they had, varied a lot because Venom enjoyed 'playing' with the slaves in horrible ways. Venom also enjoyed breeding slaves and had used her favorite slaves, Isabel and Burt, successfully. This give a new slave, Silas, who was born on the 23th day of Summer, 492 AV. Nyx' youth From al of her siblings, which resulted in 18 brothers, including Erebus, and 23 sisters, Nyx definitely was the closest to Erebus, with whom she spend most of her time. When they turned two, Venom started schooling them, along with the other children that were old enough to learn, in poison and herbalism. Nyx was especially interested in poison and studied passionately, while Erebus was more of a dreamer and didn't really care for 'all the weird plants' his mother was talking about. This difference in interest drifted them apart for a little, but not for a long time, as they found a common interest in observing other races shortly after their fourth birthday, when Venom and Tenebras allowed them to go outside by themselves for the first time. From that time, Nyx and Erebus spend most of their free time outside, but not far from home, just to stay safe. Actually, most of the time they were sitting on the doorstep of their own house, observing people who passed by and discussing them, which often resulted in laughter. As they grew up, they drifted further from home and their favorite place to sit and talk turned out to be Potter's Field, which was a cemetery as well as an orchard and one of the safer places in Hai. The Death of Venom and Tenebras The 9th day of Spring, 509 AV, shortly after Nyx and Erebus turned seven, gave a beautiful night, with a full moon and Nyx and Erebus went to Potter's field as soon as the sun had set. The air was comfortable that night and they forgot about the time, it was at dawn when Nyx noticed what time it was. She was concerned, Venom would be angry with them for staying out that long, but Erebus, who was more careless then Nyx, comforted her and said their mother wouldn't notice they were not home yet, as they had so much siblings. When Nyx opened the door of their home, she didn't found her mother mad, she found most of their family slaughtered. The only one who had seemed to survive, was Silas, who was quite injured. Start of a journey Nyx took care of Silas wounds with herbs and bandages and he was soon healthy enough to travel. Silas told Nyx and Erebus of three men, who had entered their home, Venom and Tenebras were surprised by the raid and did not have the time to react properly. Silas had seen the three men before, though he was not sure where or when, it must have been in their house, as Silas had never left it. This fact nurtured the idea that the family was killed by a friend of their parents and Nyx and Erebus decided they had to find the three men who invaded their home and took everything they cared for. Silas came along for several reasons, mostly because he had lived with Nyx and Erebus all their lives and because he was the only witness to the bloodbath. Niva'kala Nyx, Erebus and Silas left Hai soon after that, first they traveled to Ahnatep, where Erebus befriended a Konti, Niva'kala. Erebus liked Niva'kala a lot and was spending more and more time with her while Nyx and Silas were busy trying to find out who was responsible for the death of their family. This made Nyx angry and jealous, as she was used to Erebus spending all his time with her and now he was spending his time with someone who wasn't even a Zith. After a brief fight with Erebus, she agreed for Niva'kala to travel with them to Claridon, as Erebus had told her Niva'kala could see what happened in the future and she could be of great help in their quest. Losing Erebus Nyx, Erebus and Silas, now accompanied by Niva'kala, left Ahnatep and traveled further in the direction of Claridon, as Niva'kala told them they should go to Syliras, the capitol city of Sylira. They bought enough food in Claridon for several weeks, as it was a long trip from Claridon to Syliras and left shortly after that. At the 16th day of Fall, 509 AV, or rather the 16th night, they were almost out of food but Nyx found a cave to help them trough the day and Erebus decided to go hunting for food with Niva'kala. Nyx didn't agree, as she thought Erebus would do more hunting if he was by himself but decided to let them go anyway, Nyx and Silas stayed with their belongings. The sun set again at the 17th day of Fall, but there was no sign of Erebus and Niva'kala. Nyx was not as much worried as she was mad with Erebus, as she was sure he left with Niva'kala and did not care for her anymore. Nyx and Silas waited one more day, and then left for Syliras.

Training Nyx was home schooled by her mother and older sisters. They educated her in poison and herbalism, her father learned her how to handle a dagger. Nyx loves her Cyphrus Strider, and prefers riding him bare back, which gave her some skill in horse riding. From her mother she inherited the lore of cunning.
