The screech of a bird of prey made Alyssa rose from her slumber. A groan escape the pale face, red hair beauty pink lips as she laid her arm across her forehead to block out the sun. What time was it? She sat up, feeling a vertigo hit her and made her slump back against the bed. Another groan was heard and she finally sat up and looked out the window to find the sun was almost in the middle of the sky. God, she really slept in. Pushing the quilt aside, her long legs flung to the side of the bed and her eyes searched the room as if trying to find something that might be out of order.
Stretched her arms into the air and yawned. She stood up, shaking all sleepyness away from her body and went to a mirror that was on her dresser. Her hair was bed redden of course, she straightened out the fiery mess and placed a tan and black feather neatly in place and put on her normal black vinati that showed much of her toned, curvy abdomen and the usually purple Byrda and ankle height black boots.
Outside was like it normally was. People walked around, getting from point A to point B. She heard a few elderly women gossiping, men talking about the lastest hunt and a group of girls younger than herself giggling together and running away. The sun rose high over the mountains in the Kalea Region, white mountain tops glistened like tiny diamonds. Eagels and hawks called from the sky, circling the Wind Reach like prey. She smiled, trying to spot her own eagel in the sky.
The sound of clinking made her turn to the black smith shop. She could hear the sound of hot metal being cooled and iron against iron. She turned her attention back to the sky and sat down on a boulder that was perched off a cliff and looked down to the waterfall and parge pool below.
