[OOC] Zeltiva's OOC Thread

I'd like to learn more about the Zeltiva U's Certificate of Completion. They're like degrees right? But how does one go about to fulfilling the requirements to graduate with one? And what are the benefits/drawbacks of getting one? What would getting one mean?

Hi guys, I'm starting out in Zeltiva, although Elias has been there for the last 32 years so...pick your time! I'm reworking my Character concept a bit, but after that I'll be ready to go. He's mostly hanging around the University, and possibly a lecturer there, depending on Oracle's mood at the time she reads my PM.

The University, perfect! Astrolabe is a student there, so you've probably seen him already and Jaron is his buddy that just came in the Fall from Lhavit so he may run into you as well.

and if you're a Zeltivan resident for a while..you would probably have heard of Lil Herb..I believe I'm the only Pycon in the city these days.

We'll go over that in detail soon enough, I also have something to do with Eridanus some time. If I can get my CS over with. Rewriting Elias's personality from scratch. Lots of fun to be had in the future.

EDIT: I've got an idea for the university so, instead of double-posting, I'll put it there. I think there should be a group of people, teachers and/or other wizardy individuals whose job would be to protect the university against all sort of threats and problems, a bit like the Board of Reagents operating branch, with its members unknown to the student body and younger teachers. I came up with it while I was writing some backstory for Elias's father, more than thirty years ago. I still need to know if that group was formed around that time or has been around for over a century. What do you think?

Good question, I should have a post up in the new thread within the next two days or so laying all this out. The university isn't completely fleshed out if you can't tell. Sorry, working on it slowly but surely.
