The Plaza

Dominating the center of the great cavern that houses Sultros City as well as serving as the center of city activity and racial culture, the Plaza, is the heart of Sultros. Known also by its full name, the Plaza of the Crimson Arm, the Plaza is home to a series of massive stone sculptures baring the likeness of master craftsmen, legendary heroes and isur of greatness from throughout known isurian history. These great statues surround the Plaza as they look down on all who pass beneath them; symbolic of the great ancestors looking down from beyond on their brethren. The Plaza floor is covered in thousands upon thousands of varying-sized walking stones all colored in a rich crimson color and arranged in countless geometric patterns. The patterns are formed from veins of silver that spiderweb across the surface of the stones.

Considered not only the heart of city but also of the Kingom, the Plaza is one of the few locations in the entire Kingdom where isur from all clans can come to communicate, trade, display their art and skill as well as compete in a friendly, completely neutral spot. As the grand symbol of this cooperation, the Plaza holds a grand gathering of tradesmen from every clan on the Trazen as a celebration of the unity that allowed the isur to survive the Valterrian and led to the prosperity they now enjoy. The Trazen is the name given to every 30th day of each Season. On this day, individuals from all clans come together in celebration of industry, trade and commerce. Beginning on the each 30th day and lasting for five days (one for each clan), the Trazen is when clan differences are temporarily forgotten (or at least toned down a bit) and isur from all clans can meet in trade as well as discuss, compare and enjoy each others work. Each day of the Trazen takes on the name of the clan in which it is dedicated to. The days are known as Sultros Trazen, Vizerian Trazen, Coglias Trazen, Terras Trazen and Pitrius Trazen. The names of the days are symbolic in that they represent all clans as being one known as Trazen. Trazen, in the isurian tongue, means family.

Scattered throughout the Plaza, a number of booths can be found where individual isur ply their wares. Surrounding the outskirts of the plaza, a number of full shops and various businesses are also set up for the business pleasure of their patrons. It is not uncommon to see isur from all clans mingling about the Plaza which, due to the very nature of disagreement that exists between the various clans, also brings a regular patrol of Eysar to keep the generally calm, collected atmosphere that makes the Plaza so welcoming to all. The presence of Sultros' Eysar Headquarters on the outskirts of the Plaza also lends itself heavily to Plaza security.

He is kind to those who cause no trouble within the Plaza yet brutal when it comes to crime.
