History Park In the northern section of the Housing District sits History Park. The Park serves not only as a peaceful retreat but also a reminder of isurian history. Stone reliefs and statues depict scenes, objects, animals and individuals that tell stories of events that occurred long ago. Many of the statues and reliefs either came directly from the Old Kingdom or include fragments that were carried in the great exodus. Most isur are taught their history from a very early age on up through adulthood so most who visit the park do so because of the comfort it provides. Most isur who visit the park find themselves feeling comforted in the way one feels when stepping inside their home after a long day of work or the way they feel when their mother holds them close. The bond the isur have with their own history is strong and in few other places is this bond felt so strongly than in History Park. Many come to the Park for romantic interludes or to simply kick back, forget about their troubles, and enjoy the atmosphere. Positioned throughout the park are a number of benches where one may take a few moments to relax and allow the comfort to set in. A thick blanket of moss covers the ground at the park and is thick enough and strong enough that even after being walked on, it springs right back to its lush appearance. This moss also grows up, around and over various natural rock formations that reach up from the ground forming beautiful, green abstract structures that further adds to the unique atmosphere of the park. A neatly cut stone path twists its way through the park. A small stream also flows through the park and weaves its way toward Lake Sultros in the Outer Ring.
