It's currently an hour past midnight here... so there you have it, I'm officially 23. My mom was married when she was 23. And me? I'm in front of my laptop. I told the parents that I'll get myself a PS3 for my birthday, and they said... Aren't you too old to want a PS3? Oh, please. I could be 50 and I'd still be obsessed with games. The bf said we could get one together, but I said... no. It's going to be all mine. Mwahahaaa! Aside from that... it's my 23rd birthday and I'm not going to be stepping out of the house. Not for lack of trying but because the universe decided it's time for me to catch the chicken pox virus. Thanks, universe.

JUST GOT MY BABY! Bought a brand new Playstation 3. I got Star Ocean: The Last Hope as well just to start things off. All in all, cost me around 315 USD, which I think is the most I've ever spent on my own (though ze boyfriend did lend me some money so I could get the game as well). To sum things up... I'm pretty happy with myself right now. Kinda itching to try it out but it's too late in the night right now, and if I turn the TV on, ze parents will wake up and start yellin'. Guess I have to wait until tomorrow.

Me: Sorry! I can't go to the meeting, have to do some stuff for work. Thesis Mate: I think you're just going to go play with your PS3. Me: I'm sorry, I won't be coming over after all. Mom wants me to go home. Boyfriend: You just want to play with your PS3. Me: I'm sorry, I'll have to pass, it's too late already. Best friend: WILL YOU STOP PLAYING WITH THAT DAMN PS3? ...Somehow, I'm starting to see a pattern.
