I did some gardening yesterday, and on a whim, relocated several plants to the front hill of my yard. It's not finished, and my thumb isn't nearly as green as most, but here's a pic.
Then today, I decided to make some epic pasta salad, using my mom's recipe.
Recipe:
2 Boxes of pasta salad noodles
2 smoked sausages
1 bag of colby jack cheese cubes
2 small jars of artichoke hearts
1 small can of sliced black olives
1 small can of water chestnuts
1 packet of italian dressing seasoning
1 bottle of italian dressing (optional)
Begin by boiling a pot of water for the noodles. Drain the artichoke hearts, pouring the juices into a large serving bowl. Set aside, and mix Italian dressing seasoning and the 2 seasoning packets from the Pasta Salad Noodle boxes into the Artichoke juices. Quarter the artichoke hearts and add into the bowl. Drain sliced black olives, do not add juices to mix. Add olives into the mix. Drain water chestnuts, do not add juices to mix. Add water chestnuts to mix. Add colby jack cheese cubes to mix. Remove smoked sausage from pack and slice into 1/3rd inch sections. Halve the sections and add to the mix. When noodles are finished boiling, drain and add into the mix. Mix well for several minutes. Mixture should be fairly damp, if not, add italian dressing by feel. Cover and put in fridge for at least for 5 hours. Eat and enjoy.
