Early Years

Has had a primarily quiet life in the small settlement of Denval. Showed a keen aptitude for healing and herbalism at a young age, which to his family of healers was well received. Such aptitudes were nurtured, and all went well, until he felt the itch to travel the world. Feeling that his family was more than enough to handle the small community in Denval, he aspired to escape the life, learn more of the world, and healing. Against his family, and community's will he departed Denval, first traveling to The Spires, and now Avanthal.

Personality

Keenly in tune with the way things look, taste, sound, feel and smell.

Strong aesthetic appreciation for art, and is likely to be artists when the opportunity arises. Strong set of values, which he strives to consistently meet in life. He need to feel as if they're living his live in accordance with what he feels is right, and will rebel against anything which conflicts with that goal. He's likely to choose jobs and careers which allow him the freedom of working towards the realization of his value-oriented personal goals.

Tend to be quiet and reserved, and difficult to get to know intimately. He holds back his ideas and opinions except from those who are closest to him. Generally kind, gentle and sensitive in his dealings with others.

Values contributing to people's sense of well-being and happiness, and will put a great deal of effort and energy into tasks which they believe in.

An animal lover, and harnesses a true appreciation for the beauties of nature.

Original and independent, and needs to have personal space. He values people who take the time to understand him, and who support him in pursuing his goals in his own, unique way. People who don't know him well may see their unique way of life as a sign of carefree light-heartedness, but he actually takes life very seriously, constantly gathering specific information and shifting it through his value system, in search for clarification and underlying meaning.

Extremely perceptive and aware of others. He constantly gathers specific information about people, and seeks to discover what it means. He is usually penetratingly accurate in their perceptions of others.

Warm and sympathetic. He genuinely cares about people, and is strongly service-oriented in his desire to please. He has an unusually deep well of caring for those who are close to them, and is likely to show his love through actions, rather than words.

He has no desire to lead or control others, just as he has no desire to be led or controlled by others. He needs space and time alone to evaluate the circumstances of his life against his value system, and is likely to respect other people's needs for the same.

He is likely to not give himself enough credit for the things which he does extremely well. His strong value system can lead him to be intensely perfectionist, and cause them to judge himself with unnecessary harshness.

Oluse has many special gifts for the world, especially in the areas of creating artistic sensation, and selflessly serving others. Life is not likely to be extremely easy for him, because he takes life so seriously, but he has the tools to make his life and the lives of those close to him a richly rewarding experiences.

Ethics

His Ethics, though keenly important to his daily life, is best described as undeveloped. And, he is aware of this.

His primary ethical obligation, to himself, at the moment is to develop a more strict moral system to process the challenges of the world more quickly, and justly.

He does have a tendency to prefer a foul on the passive side of issues he is not yet ready to face, though backed into a corner he will react, with reluctance even when confused.

One issue he does have full faith in, at the moment, is that all earthly ailments and wounds should be eased, and or treated by those with the skill to do so, no matter the circumstances of the ailment or injuries origin.

Oluse is likely to fluctuate greatly in morality, due to the primary influences upon him.

Likes: Herbalism, art, philosophy, and nature.

Equipment
ImageClothes- Bulky fur lined winter outfit for frigid temperatures, all a light leather colour, with singed designs along it, depicting mountains sunshine water and animals. The Fur itself is a dark brown at the base, brushing out into a fine white, at the tip of the inch long hairs. As an inner layer he has a tight pair of pants, a light inner shirt, with a dark males tank top below that. Heavy mittens to protect his hands from freezing. Matching heavy ice boots upon his feet.

Money held in two pouches made from two large water skins, that strap like a sling over his shoulder and around his back and chest. Pouch lays streamline against his skin, for minimal notability. Money that won't fit in this bag is held in saddlebags, at the bottom.

Development Questions

Aesthetics :
1. Describe yourself as you see yourself.
Adventurous, worldly and mature for my age.
2. Describe yourself as others typically see you.
Sporadic and naive, with an unquenchable curiosity.
3. What is your favorite body feature?
Of mine? Um... never thought much about that, I don't look in mirrors often. I'd have to say my foot because they carry me through life.
4. How physically fit are you?
Eh, I walk a lot.
5. How do you typically dress and what is your style?
Practical. I do like to have adornments and decorations to my clothes if it doesn't get in the way of their use, and isn't too expensive.

Family :
1. Who are your parents like?
Mother treats everybody like her child, unfortunately that doesn't leave much time for her actual children. Father is a proud man, and puts a lot of effort into teaching me what is right.
2. Do you have any brothers or sisters?
Yes two older sisters. We aren't close anymore, they are quite a bit older than me.
3. What is your extended family like?
Well extended family stretches all through Denval, they are my community and I love them for that. I don't always relate to them in conversation though. My part of the family is a bit of a black sheep.
4. Do you consider close friends as important or more/less important than family?
Family must always come first. So friends are less important, but I do value them.
5. Do you treat animals like family?
I've never had a pet, so I don't know. I try not to be heartless or cruel to animals.

Location :
1. Where were you born?
Denval
2. Where do you live now?
Avanthal, but I plan to leave come Spring.
3. If you could live anywhere in Mizahar where would that be?
Nowhere, I would be completely transient. But, work slows me down.
4. Do you have a favorite place to vacation or spend leisure time?
Anywhere in the warm sun. So currently in Avanthal, no.
5. Where do you fear to be?
In the Northern Reach alone. I dream about the tundra terrors occasionally.

Traits :
1. Do you have any physical weaknesses (disease, scars, and missing limbs?)
No, my family has always made sure to keep me very healthy.
2. Are you right handed or left handed?
Right handed, though both my hands are very steady and precise when working with small instruments.
3. What languages do you speak? What do you sound like? Do you have an accent?
I have a thick Denvali accent, but I'm working on strengthening my common accent. I also speak Vani pretty well, but nothing else noteworthy.
4. Do you have any odd mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
My only annoying feature is I tend to get so focused on specifics of a situation I sometimes forget to see conversations in a broad scope. Sometimes I come off as a little spacy, or like I'm not paying attention to what matters.
5. Do you have (or want to get) any tattoos or piercing? Why do you have them (or will get them) ?
I like piercings and tattoos. But, I don't know if I could ever go home to face my family if I got any.

Occupations :
1. What is your occupation?
Healer, though I'm just getting started. I make an alright herbalist, though.
2. Do you like/dislike your work? Why?
I love my work. It is something I know how to do without having to think. Its peaceful, meditative and rewarding. My senses are alive with stimulation when I work.
3. If you could be anything you wanted to, what would you be?
A sage healer that taught others how to heal, and got paid massive amounts of money because I was the best healer in the land.
4. What occupation do you admire the most? Why?
I admire all occupations, they are all a part of society. The occupation I admire the most, however, is farming. Without food we would all disperse, and none of the other occupations would be possible. We would just be savages.
5. What occupation do you least like? Why?
I don't respect distilleries. I think alcohol is a corrosive poison on the open wound which society is quickly becoming. Without it I believe we could all be happier.

Childhood :
1. What sort of child were you?
A well disciplined child. I had my bouts of adventure and curiosity overtake me from time to time. But, overall I was quiet and did what I was told. My parents raised two children before me, both were angels. I didn't have a choice but to fill their shoes.
2. What is your favorite memory from childhood?
I wasn't exactly a happy child... I didn't fit in in Denval, so there wasn't many good memories to be made for me.
3. What is your worst memory from childhood?
Every time my parents fought. There were my world, and when they got angry my world trembled under my feet.
4. What sort of relationship did you have with your parents?
I was always an apprentice. They loved me, but all we ever talked about was work. Their work. They did say I had a natural aptitude for the art however, and praised me often enough.
5. Who was your most influential rolemodel?
My father. An honorable man that always knew exactly what to do in any situation.

Education :
1. What sort of education do you have?
Basic. I went to the Denval Academy like all of the other child, and finished my education before running away. I did not receive any martial training, though.
2. Do you like/dislike learning?
I love learning just about anything academic, or practical. I dislike learning anything I can't think of a purpose for, such as violence.
3. Where or how did you learn most of your skills/abilities?
Most of my skills were taught be my parents and reenforced with hundreds of hours of practice as a child. Lonely hard work, but it paid off.
4. How do you learn best?
By feeling how exactly its like doing it myself. Touching, smelling, seeing and sometimes tasting the job I do. I have to really physically connect to a subject to grasp it's intricacies.
5. What are your educational goals for the future?
I just want to become a great healer, and herbalist.

Relationships :
1. Do you form close bonds with people? Why? Why not?
No, I like people, but they never seem to take an interest in me. I have trouble relating to them, I think. Or them to me, perhaps.
2. Do you trust people easily? If not, why not?
Trust is relative. I trust people easily to be civil, but intimate trust, that has to be earned.
3. Do you consider yourself straight, gay, bi, or something else?
Um, straight. I've never had sex with a guy.
4. Have you ever been kissed? If so, describe the first time.
It was magical, I was sent to the Temple of Nikali when I was ten. She was beautiful and gentle. I still remember in vivid detail everything that happened that day. And you're crazy if you think I'm going to tell you a single bit of it!
5. Have you ever had sex? If so, describe the first time.
Yes, and I'm not going to kiss and tell. What happens with a man and women between the sheets is sacred and private!

Drugs and Alcohol :
1. Have you ever been drunk? If so, describe your first time.
I've had a drink here and there, but have never been drunk per se. Tasted horrible too. I prefer juice.
2. Do you like to drink on a regular basis?
No.
3. What sort of alcohol do you prefer?
None. Why are we keeping this section?
4. Have you ever tried drugs (mood altering substances)? If so, which kinds and what did you think of them?
Besides some mistakes while testing herbs, no.
5. What do you think of drugs and alcohol? Be specific.
They are a drain of societies integrity. Ruining lives, and taring apart families, as well as in most cases destroying the body of the user. I hate drugs and alcohol. They disgust me, along with their users, and creators.

Likes and Dislikes :
1. What are your hobbies?
I have a lot of hobbies, when time around my studies permits. I will try any type of art! And I enjoy studying the natural world too, as well as just getting to know people and exploring new places.
2. Do you like to read?
Yes, and no. I do love books and the knowledge they hold, and I'm a fine reader. But, I prefer learn from personal testimony or even better hands on exploration!
3. What annoys you more than anything else?
More than anything else? When people senselessly hurt others.
