Name: Adnaj



Race: Nuit
Age: 300 years
Birthday: Summer 15th 212 AV.

Physical Description: The body that Adnaj currently occupies is that of a large, ragged man who looked to have been in his early 50's before death had taken him. The body bears all the markings of a well-worn Nuit trapping.

Adnaj chooses to drape his body in scholarly robes, specifically denoting study in the healing arts. Adnaj exerts a curious amount of effort to keep his bodies looking as presentable as is possible. Therefore, if one were to look closely, they could detect the presence of some cosmetic applications of the make-up in addition to the embalming process.

Additionally, Adnaj carries, with him, a bag full of healing supplies.

Character Concept
Adnaj had to be a Nuit for the academic possibilities of a mind with no limit to the time allowed to study. Yes, one day Adnaj will most likely grow tired of a repetitive and mundane life. However, that point is so far in the future that it is barely relevant to the character as it pertains to the current timeline of events in Mizahar.

Adnaj is a Nuit who is perpetually disturbed by the poor reputation for which the Nuit have become known. He maintains that there is real, genuine good within the Nuit and behaves accordingly. He affirms this belief but does he really believe it? Does it solidly believe this deep down in his heart? Well maybe he's not sure yet. But he chooses to conduct himself in that manner and chooses to live in that world. He feels like it has to be true. He wants it to be true and will stubbornly behave as if it is. Beyond that, he'll stubbornly petition for other people to believe that it is true.

To this end, Adnaj has dedicated his unlife and immortality to the pursuit of healing the living. He has decided to study the physiological processes of dynamic, living tissue. And guess what. He genuinely wants to be the best at it.

He wants to give Nuits a good name and he wants to be a master-level physician. The summation of his desire is to become a physician in Zeltiva University Hospital.

His desire to heal is (fortunately) born from greater sources than a simple public relations campaign. Although Adnaj has no incredible sense of compassion or desire to "help people," he is perpetually fascinated by the mechanics of the human body. There is just little enough valid science, on the living creature, to capture the interest of a mind which has engaged eternal study.

Character History
There isn't, yet, a whole lot of interest. Adnaj does not remember any life before being undead. That undead existence has not been marked by any haunting or even noteworthy adventure. It has been defined by study. Quiet reading. In a mortal library. Or perhaps a private study.

His motivation to improve living-Nuit relationships did not come from any traumatic event or from a family experience. It simply came from a host of mundane, everyday frustrations and the observances of mild hostilities. He certainly does not feel a connection to these Nuit that rise above his desire for friendly communion with the living.
