A city floating in the center of a lake, Ravok is a place of dark beauty, romance and culture. Behind it all though is the presence of Rhysol, God of Evil and Betrayal. The city is controlled by The Black Sun, a religious organization devoted to Rhysol. [Lore]

Early morning.
Ravok, Azure Reflections Fine Tailoring (outside), Noble District.

Entire Ravok was still dead in the morning. Everyone was still asleep, but there's no rest for the wicked. As a matter of fact, in the Noble District, Accalia stood proud with her shield strapped to her forearm and with her sword in the scabbard, her horse, Winter, right next to her and her lance was lodged between the saddlebag and Winter himself. Even though the sun was up, Accalia was showing signs that she lacked sleep. First of all, she was yawning. Even though yawning was impolite, she was still doing it, due to the fact she was unable to control it. Occasionally, she'd stretch every once in a while, just to start the blood flow to her muscles again. And slowly, as the sun was rising on the horizon, the streets were slowly starting to get crowded. Windows were slowly opening to allow for some of the fresh air to fill the Noble homes of Ravok. The Noble District was something Accalia didn't like a lot. Everyone in it was supremely rich, and she was basically flat out broke in comparison to the people there. They even had slaves! People who do things for them! Well, slaves don't get treated well... at least not from what Accalia knew about them and their owners. Accalia's lamellar armor was easily distinguished in the Noble District. It was something rugged and simple. No big luxury, because there were no heraldry symbols on it. It was just thousands of scale-like patterned plates which were there to protect from slashes and cuts alike. The dull, gray lamellar armor was that thing that made Accalia stand out from the crows of rich people who were sporting silk and all other kinds of exquisite materials.

Accalia had always considered nobles silly. They all walked slowly, showing off how rich they are and how they're on top of the foodchain. But actually, they wouldn't last a second in combat without a fancy mage by their side or some cowardice like that! Then again, they'd probably pay a reasonable sum for a skilled mercenary. And that's exactly why Accalia wanted to make a name. So she can pretend she's protecting a noble, but actually not care, and get quite a lot by basically doing nothing. Well, maybe she would do something.. something like pretending she's protecting them, or caring about them, at least. As long as it's not obvious she's really just leeching from the nobility. Carefully scanning the crowds, she was only really there to guard the entrance of the Azure Reflections Fine Tailoring, because the owner was absent and there were some issues with the lock. The assistant (also the slave of the owner) was absent as well. Oh well, it's just another easy task that requires a lot of standing around... and a good portion of time spent yawning and stretching in front of the door with Winter by her side.

Slowly pulling the cloth that covered her mouth and nose down, she looked at the water in the canal. Suddenly, she started humming Ol' Rhysol's Ravok. Nobles were turning their heads, smirks were brought on their faces, and some were disgruntled by this. Even though Accalia believed in Kihala, she was humming Ol' Rhysol's Ravok. She was probably just too tired or she simply forgot what the song actually is about and only the melody was stuck in her head. People were looking at Accalia who was simply staring at the water in the canal near Azure Reflections Fine Tailoring. Accalia definitely needed some shuteye since she was here even before the sunrise. The nobility was prowling through the streets, looking at the door that Accalia has now leaned on. As Accalia leaned onto the door, it busted open due to it having a damaged lock - and Accalia landed inside, falling onto her back. The little noise that was on the street just stopped. Everyone's heads turned after hearing the loud thud that the lamellar made upon impact. Everyone was simply staring at Accalia who was lying down on her back, with her legs out of the store, but her upper body in it.

Oh the embarrassment! Accalia's cheek turned simply red, and before she stood up, she pulled the cloth up to cover her mouth and nose, but this time, she pulled it up even higher than usual, covering as much of her face as she could, now straightening herself to sit on the doorstep, casually looking around as if nothing happened. However, the nobility kept staring at her. Accalia then stood up, turning around to close the door with a smile on her face, which was hidden by the piece of cloth. With her cheeks red, she turned around again, looking at the crowd that was silently staring at her. It certainly was not something pleasant. However, one man stepped out of the crowd and approached her. Accalia already placed her right hand on her sword's hilt, ready to pull it out of the scabbard.

"Just what do you think you're doing?" the senior said, looking at Accalia with his emerald-green eyes. His grizzling beard was implying he was wise. Well, he seemed very wise, so Accalia let go of the hilt. "Uh, sir.. I'm guarding the premises." she said in a somewhat slurred tone, making him barely able to make it out. The man nodded, stroking his beard. "And what do you think, could anyone break in?" he said, carefully eyeing Accalia from head to toe, paying close attention to her lamellar armor and her sword, which was concealed within a black scabbard. Getting somewhat angry, she took a step forward, face-to-face with the man, staring directly in his eyes. "Sir, step back!" she uttered out with her spittle getting onto the piece of cloth. How disgusting.. it's a good thing only he saw it. Remaining imperative, Accalia stood tall, not minding how clumsy she was this morning, trying to talk her way out of possible trouble and awkward situations. And so, as the man turned away, he chuckled - mainly because Lady Wickham was coming back - with a locksmith following her. Accalia quickly pulled the cloth down, straightening her posture as a real guard would, shifting her gaze to Lady Wickham as she stepped right next to her. Upon this occuring, Accalia slammed her fist against her chest before saluting Lady Wickham, who then entered Azure Reflections Fine Tailoring, checking if anything was stolen or if anything has gone missing since her last visit. However, everything was intact. After several minutes, Lady Wickham came out, staring at Accalia, who was obviously sleepy enough, and was barely managing to stay awake.

And so, the dialogue between Lady Wickham and Accalia started.

"Accalia, did anyone enter the shop during my absence?" Lady Wickham said, carefully observing Accalia. Accalia only merely shook her head from the left to the right, responding to the question with a negative. Even though it was somewhat early in the morning, Lady Wickham was looking amazing, just like always. Accalia, however, looked just like any other guard. Rugged, lacking finesse and worn out due to the conditions.
After Accalia responded to Lady Wickham's question, Lady Wickham told her to come inside. Accalia slowly entered the tailoring shop, standing right in front of Lady Wickham, looking at her with anticipation.
"You see, Accalia.. I think you did your job fairly well. I'll consider contacting you again for such easy tasks." she said, pointing to the door. Accalia smiled a little, even though Lady Wickham insulted her. Who would say anything to such an astonishing woman? Well, Accalia certainly wouldn't. And so, the locksmith who was waiting outside now approached the door and started working on it. Though, Accalia had just mounted her horse, Winter and started making her way out of the Noble District. Even though, as she was riding on Winter, she wrapped her arms around his neck, leaning her head on his - basically resting as she slowly strolled through the narrow streets. The heavy equipment clanking, it was a fairly decent day in Ravok.
