Canyons and teetering formations of redstone serve as old witnesses of once deep rivers and catastrophic geysers. Now a dry beautiful place, it holds hardy creatures on its cliffs and in its caves.

A heavy beat erupted before quietly fading away. Multiple hoof steps treaded through the soft shifting sands as Syna's light covered everything in sight. He had ridden from the heartland of the Keerdash Grove to Eloab for shelter and water water before leaving the deserted ruin by caravan with several of his fellow Kalanue Tribesmen. He left the group to venture off on his own when they settled near the city of Benshiran city. He followed the northwestern boarders until the yellow sand turned red.

The formations of red caves became a hopeful sight when compared to the blazing dunes he had come to know so well. Tsutla, his Eyktolian desert bred huffed as it trotted. Nayato pulled on the reigns while his obsidian eyes lifted upwards towards the sky. The heat had been beating down onto his vibrant copper skin for so long that his color seemed to shine even more than usual. The red sand which bellowed into the air by dry gusts of heat left traces of a red hue on his skin that made him look orange.

Flinging one leg over the saddle Nayato plopped down onto the ground causing a cascade of red sand to plum before he led himself and his horse towards a small overcrop of stone that granted shade under its ledge. give them both shade for rest. Though the little cave was for his horse. Nayato himself took out a tarp large tarp made of different animal pelts to set up a makeshift lean-to right next to the cave. Being smart he actually used two fishing hooks to connect the ends of the tarp to the rock face of the outside wall next to the cave. The tarp formed a single slope of the roof. sloping from the cave side to extends all the way to the ground. After nailing down the back two ends of the tarp into the ground with two poles he used to set up his actually tent he was done with his temporary shelter.

Walking out of the side of the lean-too he watched his horse graze on a near shrub. Thinking on a plan of where to go next. “Ahnatep? Or do we head backwards towards Yahebah? Yahebah’s a long trip away though” Nayato was talking aloud to himself, though was speaking as if holding a conversation with Tsutla. ”Or we can head into Cyphrus?” Shifting his quiver of arrows along his back he set his longbow to lean against the red stones as he scratched his arms into the air.
