Hello!

Thought I would drop in and introduce myself quickly before I start roleplaying, just to tell you a little about myself.

My character name is devised from a character from The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan (a very minor character who plays practically no part at all) - Thom Grinwell. I have never really participated in roleplaying of any form before, but I thought I would give this forum a try as I like the open world idea and the fact that it isn't limited by like 300 pages of rules..

I am currently a self employed painter and decorator, although I am about midway through the application process to become an infantry soldier in her majestys army. I enjoy football, reading and writing, but my number one passion in life has to be swimming! I am 20 years old and live in England (as you may have already guessed).

Well I've never been very good at introductions but that's a little bit about me, I hope to meet a few nice people and hopefully gain a roleplaying companion or two

I will be starting in Syliras by the way!

Hello! And welcome to the site! I'm still fairly new, but I can still say hello!

And I just have to say I love Wheel of Time. It was the book series that initially got me RPing countless years ago.

And woo! England. And the army (I'm a Forces' brat). <3

and joining the army is something I've always wanted to do, but my ex didn't want me to go so I didn't apply until a couple of months ago. I'm really excited and been training hard

It's because of The Wheel of Time that I came here as well, I was searching for a Wheel of Time RP site but couldn't find one so I came here instead

Well welcome.

I wont say that we have 300 pages of rules to follow, but Im sure you will find out through course of reading or roleplay that this is a VERY distinct world. Its a lot to figure out, and I hope that you are enjoying the work that you are reading and that you enjoy learning about the world of Mizahar.

Be sure to read through the lore carefully, and please, please, please read through the little welcoming PM you were sent by Admin. Its very helpful. So is the Starting Guide, but I suppose you are already making your way through such things. A little reminder never hurts though

I can tell you that I still refer to the lore myself!

I've been reading through quite a bit of the lore, the first page I stumbled onto on this site happened to be an article on the wiki (can't recall which article). From there I followed a few links, read up on some random bits and pieces and thought, this place is amazing!

So I signed up and am currently reading through the lore as and when I need them, absolutely love the detail and obvious great amount of effort that has gone into this world!

I decided to read through some of the lore on my lunch break today at work on my phone, which magically made my hour turn into nearly two.. oops - yay for being self employed!

Really looking forward to getting more deeply involved in this, it's all looking great so far!
