A Dog and, Two? ![]() 91st of Summer, 512 AV Lynes awoke with a start, he was laying in the middle of an open field on the edge of Syliras, barely within The Bronze Woods. It wasn't a good idea to sleep in such a place, although it wasn't really his idea any way. He had simply dozed off in his relaxation. Looking up he tried to find the sun, to judge how many bells had passed Finding it, he cursed himself, Shyke. The sun was directly above him, making it mid-day. He was late. He planned to leave Syliras, he wanted to head to Ravok instead. A city on water, not exactly a good home for a wolf. Most would have thought that, but Lynes didn't really care. He had done his research and found out that the city was not a home for Kelvics anyway. Instead the people within it would enslave or just kill off most that came within their reach. He would have to act completely human, although his golden eyes may make him stand out. He didn't really mind though, he was far too bored for his own good and wanted to add some excitement to his life. His plan was to meet up with an odd acquaintance of his, he hadn't really talked to the man even once, but he had heard much about his medical skills and believed that he would be a good traveling partner. He was suppose to meet him eight bells into the day, but had awoken early and decided to relax in his only known place within The Bronze Woods. It is now at least twelve bells in, perhaps even thirteen. He was late, something that was rare with him. It was his first serious meeting with this man and he was going to be late, what a shame; such a terrible introduction. Lynes stood and stretched out his body, front legs before back legs. He trotted off in his wolf form towards Syliras, knowing this part of The Bronze Woods rather well. He walked out of the clearing and onto the edge of a stream which he followed to a rather insignificant tree, at least to most people. To Lynes, this tree was his closet and his dresser. Morphing back to his human form, he reached down under the tree into a paw dug hole; pulling out a full set of clothing, undergarments, a shirt, and a pair of pants. Putting each on in that respective order, he stretched out his now human body. He then reached down into the hole again and pulled out his patch of six hundred golden mizas, which he had been saving for his journey; tying the bag that they were in to his waist. Heading off towards Syliras. The person he was suppose to be meeting went by the name Race Banner, who really knew if that was his real name, either way it was the name that he told everyone when he greeted them. He had a reputation for being a tad crazy, but Lynes had assumed that it would only make him even more of an interesting travel companion. Race was a doctor of sorts, giving out his skills to a not so select few. He helped the poor in Syliras, performing his magic for free. Banner was looking for a way to get out of helping the poor, he was getting sick of it. As an answer, Lynes offered to travel with him to Ravok, on foot. Lynes walked through the gates of Syliras towards the giant castle that made up more than ninety percent of the city. He would miss it no doubt, but being in a more active, more enticing city just continued to draw him away from Syliras. He had told Race that he would meet him in front of the pathway towards the castle, he was at least four bells late, but Lynes hoped Race would still be there. |
