47th of Fall, 512 A. V.
Being in Riverfall felt like a never ending field trip. The city was absolutely beautiful. It didn't seem to have a single flaw, in Iris' opinion. There were colorful strong men. They worked hard, and they didn't seem to have an issue with Iris staring at them or their muscles. The Konti healer had no problem with being around them for extended periods of time. And some of them wanted her around.
While exploring the vast city that was Riverfall the Timandre sister realized that she wanted to stay in Riverfall. For good. Iris' trip from Mura to Zeltiva was just a one season deal, she lived out of a nice Inn room not willing to buy any permanent housing. Zeltiva was indeed a nice town, had some great people. Iris even made some good friends but the Konti didn't get that 'I want to be a fully productive member of this city for years to come' type of vibe. But after spending a few days in this new city and going around Iris knew she had to stay.
Staying meant Iris had to get a job. With her Goddess given talent and trained medical ability she knew she'd be able to find a decent paying job again. Iris was a realist, sure doing jobs for the love was fine and dandy but the Konti also wanted to pamper herself. Or as some others would wisely say "Live the good life."
The Konti decided to wear that basic sleeveless white dress. It was comfortable. She had no foot wear. Now, Iris found herself standing in front of set of structures that an Akalak directed her to after a conversation. He said 'You'd do well there.' Iris was not perfect. Sometimes she appeared to lack common sense. The Akalak said 'place that helps cure people' and Iris still questioned why he sent her there. It was Iris' lack of common sense that landed her in Riverfall in the first place after leaving Zeltiva. She stood in front of the buildings. The Konti began to think very hard, she didn't want to just walk into the place. Completely missing the point that it was a place of healing she just stood there pulling onto her now waist long hair. It's been fourty days since Iris tended to it. Pretty hard to do when you're fighting to stay alive.
"What am I still doing here? Maybe I should leave."
Iris pressed her extremely light hair against her pale cheek and looked around. A feeling of doubt washed over Iris. Maybe she shouldn't have taken that Akalak's advice to come out to this place. Iris began telling herself.
"Seems like I've made another mistake. But it wouldn't hurt anyone if I just waited here for a little while."
At that the Konti simply sat on the floor crossing her right leg over her left leg.
