Hi. New person here. You can call me whatever you like, you'll curse the name sooner or later anyway. Shame there's no tone of voice on here and I'm allergic to smilies.
Anyway. I've got some two decades of RP experience under my belt (which seems to be shrinking these past few years; stupid sedentary lifestyle). I'm from a pen and paper background but with work taking an ever increasing toll on my available time I've been focussing more heavily on my online endeavours. Some of my favourite pen and paper systems have been Ars Magica, Fading Suns and Aberrant if that tells anyone anything.
More than anything else I used to love LARPing however. The big thing there is that when you're at the place, you're in character 24/7. And it works out for the people who are there. I've sat on nightwatch duty telling and hearing made-up stories, I've made enemies who through happenstance became allies, saved the day... and most of it through sheer happenstance, certainly none of it scripted by any GM. The RP Big Brother atmosphere means things just happen. And these things tend to overshadow the significance of whatever threat the GMs throw at me. Good times.
Okay, talk about digressing. What's next on the list? Oh yes. My sister dragged me here. Ironically enough she neither has an account nor a character yet, in spite of me giving her no small amount of trouble over it. I'll write about pretty much anything though my style is pretty straightforward. I actually loathe meandering styles when I'm reading something. Yes, yes, I know, but this is all stream of consciousness. Anyway. I'm more impressed by people like Gemmell who manages to tell a whole story in 250 pages and that's what I'm shooting for when I write.
As for Mizahar, well, to quote a friend, 'I'll try anything twice'. I'm not foreign to Forum RP though I'm used to higher frequency posts that stay clear of writing for the other person's character (though the cases I've seen might have been people who agreed on this beforehand; I haven't sampled that much). What I like? Well, most of the stuff I have read looks rock solid, a lot of it even impressive.
What I dislike? How much time have you got? Okay, it's not that bad, and it's mostly systems stuff like...
Weapons list is directly copied from D&D and contains the false attributions that game has carried since day one and a lot of redundancy.
Skills are a mess. Compare the scope of, say, Intelligence and Candlemaking.
Oh and I have a terrible eye for other people's typoes, but that's more of a personal problem really. I know I make them as easily as the next guy, but I only ever see them in other people's writing.
What I'm hoping for? Not to have to bother Staff too much. As it worked itself out, I'll have to poke someone before I can even think about posting a CS because I went against style and gave my guy living non-absentee parents.
Anything else? Yeah, anybody have a good site to link MP3s from? (Yes, I've already ready over the posting help topics and all and I love the little MP3 player and I love adding music to the occasional post to set the mood.)

Your character description is amazingly detailed and I look forward to reading your future threads.
