Winter Day 14 Year 512AV
From a distance, I was able to see the city of Syliras. Even though it was a beautiful sight in the winter, I still didn't feel comfortable for looks are like lies to the truth. When me and Midnight Star came closer, I rose my hood over my head where nothing could bee seen besides the flow of my shaded violet of hair and a glimpse of my eyes at the right angle. I hushed Midnight Star so we did not startle anything near by or appear as a threat to the wild animals.
Midnight Star's hooves were left in the snow, like a ghost who has been running to find freedom.
Once we reached the main gates, I dismounted her and brushed her hair with my hand. I bowed gently to the Knights.

"We mean no harm, My name is Zsofika and this is Midnight Star. We wish to enter."

It didn't take long before the gate opened to us. We entered slowly, walking side-by-side. I kept my head low, occasionally looking around. My main concern was looking for a decent place to rest. Though looking at a few shops couldn't hurt I suppose...

An Eye for A Friend. (Lucian)

Postby Lucian Illantras on January 15th, 2013, 3:01 am

Lucian was walking through the halls of the castles, he was passing by the main gate when he saw it slowly open. He halted himself with a wicked grin that would pass against his face. He watched as this girl entered the city. She looked beautiful to Lucian. And a perfect victim to made of.

Lucian started to make make his way towards her body. He slowly walked behind her before he caught up to her. "Well, you look new to the city. Do you come here often?" His voice had a hint of concern in it, but behind it was the devilish voice of a thief, ready to snatch anything valuable she might have had.

Lucian often pondered why he thought this way. He thought he could live without these thoughts of treason against the law of Syliras and live a perfectly natural life, maybe as a blacksmith and open his own shop. But he was quick to throw away these thoughts. The wicked smile on his face returned as he walked beside her.

Zsofika's Horse, Midnight Star, stomped her hooves to the the ground and neighed. Zsofika made sure her gaze stayed low, and they continued to walk but slower. She looked back with her face hidden and remained quiet.

"I guess you can say that."

Zsofika felt a little suspicious of such a random man to approach her like so, she wasn't even sure why one would approach such a hidden figure. She almost wanted to shoo him off, but even though she felt picked, she didn't feel she had much motivation to make one so easily disappear. After a moments though she looked at her horse and brushed it's hair gently.
"I am a traveler, I left my people to explorer lands I never seen."

But then she suddenly stopped in her tracks and twirled around to face the man. She angled her head to where he was able to see a glisten in her eye, for her hair flowed in front of the other side of her face. She held on tight to Midnight Star for she might run off. She looked at him for a moment that felt a long while.

"Who are you?" She tensed slightly.

"Even though I am not with my people anymore, they are always with me..."

An Eye for A Friend. (Lucian)

Lucian looked to a side a bit at her question, weary if he should tell her the truth or lie to her, she was a traveler from a different land after all, it couldn't hurt to tell her his name. "You can call me Lucian. But please don't fret, I don't mean any harm", he smiled behind this façade he wore to mask his intentions.

He started to circle around the horse a bit, examining it for any bags, looking her body up and down to determine if she had anything valuable. She was a traveler right? She must have something of value on her person. Why travel if you wouldn't take anything from the places you visit? he thought to himself. But on another note it struck him that stealing wasn't as fun as he might have thought. He didn't care for it much anymore but didn't mind doing it.

If anything, Lucian was looking for a way to leave this place he was seemingly stuck in. He didn't like the feeling that he had always been here. He only traveled in Sylira and no where else. Stealing was a fun thrill to him, but the only reason he did it was to meet Ionu. He couldn't think of a better way to impress him other than through Larceny.

She sharpened her gaze at the man, but when he told her his name, she loosened up.

"Lucian..." She repeated and lowered her head.
"My name is Zsofika. Its decently nice to meet you." She wanted to be nice but not overly nice. She didn't know a thing about this man besides his name. Why did he single her out? Zsofika watched Lucian as he circled Midnight Star.
"I may not have anything of your interest unless you like horse hair."
She gave a light grin.To Zsofika, this man felt like trouble. What did Lucian want from her? Though she was tired and didn't care as much as she probably should of.

"Lucian, do you live in this area?"

She tried to keep a steady eye on him.

"I come from a far away area, and I am tired. Maybe you can help me and guide me perhaps to somewhere to rest."

An Eye for A Friend. (Lucian)

Postby C'Arya Tomva on January 16th, 2013, 4:43 am

The door to the Inn closed with a creak and a soft thump. C'Arya quickly glanced up and down the street and did a double take when she spotted A girl and a horse accompanied by a gaunt young man. What an odd pair they make, I wonder, if they know each other at all? she thought to herself, eyebrow raised. Though, such pairs we not uncommon in the big cities. But, if this was not the case, then she must do something.

She shouldered her pack and started to approach them, red hair waving in time with the slight breeze. She combed back the wisps of amber with her smooth hands, her green eyes shone as her vertical pupils dilating to adjust from the light of the Inn. Wearing cloths took Shifting of the table, if their was trouble, but she gripped her quarter-staff tightly, an intimidating weapon, even if she could barely use it. She preferred to use fang and claw to defend herself, when times got tough.

C'Arya called out to them, saying, "Hello there! What manner of merry company do you make, such an odd group? A young girl and her faithful horse, along with a man, carrying a sword upon his belt. May I join this fellowship?" she finished with a smile. C'Arya nervously anticipated a reply.

Now Zsofika felt really uneasy and she went back to tightening her grip on to Midnight Star. She examined the approaching female and lowered her head into her hood so she could not be seen again. Only her hair dangled in just delicacy.

"Hu..."

Zsofika looked back at Lucian and then back at the new female. She wasn't sure if she should be glad someone appeared or run off and hide away from everyone, even if she was tired, she knew Midnight Star would get her out of there.

"Fellowship? Join? I think there is a mis-understanding."

She was at a lost for what to do next. Things got overwhelming for her, she kept close to Midnight Star but as well tried to stay distant from Lucian.
Zsofika thought to her self;
Was Syliras a mistake?
She lightly shook her head to herself, just barely to where it was un-noticeable.

An Eye for A Friend. (Lucian)

Postby Lucian Illantras on January 17th, 2013, 12:56 am

Lucian finally heeded himself in front of the woman, he could sense the feeling of distrust, simply by the way she was postured on the horse, it was as if she was ready to run away at any moment. Lucian at this point really wasn't concerned about stealing from this woman anymore, instead he found a fascination, and possibly a use. This was a person that he could use to travel, and if at any time, possibly get in bed with.

Lucian placed his left hand up to his chin, supporting the arm with his right arm leveled across his chest. He looked up to the woman in the eyes, and thought for a moment. "Well just to point it out, though I'm not interested in anything you have, but since you travel I'm sure you have some souvenirs?" Lucian let out a bit of a smile, this was another one of his fascinations, to look at a person and figure them out by how they look, or what their feature were.

He looked to the newcomer suddenly as she busted out with her hellos. He simply stared at her, wondering why they were approached. He didn't feel like speaking to her at this moment. His eyes shifted back towards Zsofika with a smile that rose on his face, A fellowship huh? he wondered what use she was if they were to encounter monsters and the like of the wilderness. Though he had been confined to Syliras most of his life he always pondered what dangerous adventures lie outside Sylira.

C'Arya watched the girl tighten her grip on her horse, saying "Fellowship? Join? I think there is a mis-understanding." C'Arya's face fell, she had been hoping for a person or two to spend the evening with, although, the chances of this were slim now. Now the man, was another matter. He looked suspicious, eyeing the girl's belongings, like they we already his. But if she was wrong, such an accusation could get her in trouble. How could she alert the girl, without arousing suspicion in the man? Then again, he was quite charming, he might not be a petty thief, just a swordsman.

Towns aren't usually this complicated. thought C'Arya, as she does not go into towns often, usually only to see someone or take a break from hunting out in the wild. This time it was the latter. She nervously played with her tunic, not used to its rough itch on her skin. It was decided, she would mention a thievery, and watch the man's reaction. Then she would judge. She walked up to the girl and put a comforting arm on her shoulder, sensing her distress, as animals often can.

C'Arya finally murmured, "Are you two in need of rest? The Inn is a wonderful spot for just that, good food and soft beds. I am checked in there now." raising her voice so the man could hear too, she continued with a glance at the man, "And it's away from thieves, not that this city has any." As she waited for a response, she kept her eyes on the swordsman.
