Built into the cliffs overlooking the Suvan Sea, Riverfall resides on the edge of grasslands of Cyphrus where the Bluevein River plunges off the plain and cascades down to the inland sea below. Home of the Akalak, Riverfall is a self-supporting city populated by devoted warriors. [Riverfall Codex]

Vanator's eyebrows raised, his smile widening when Fade revealed that she had actually lived at the Sanctuary for a while. They had something in common and, when the time was right, he would ask the woman about her experience there. But the Drykas' excitement was dampened when he saw the girl's countenance suddenly fall when he suggested they ride down the slide together. Petch, he cursed himself. He should not have moved so quickly. Fade was young, and not a bold Drykas woman, and his rather forward suggestion must have offended her.

Vanator had not yet made the connection, unlearned of the true workings of Ranuri, though he had know his sister Akela had acquired one. The one time he had seen her since she left the pavilion there was no mention of the mark. Kavala had only told him that the mark had changed Akela, that the mark compelled the older Konti sister to seek to fulfill Kavala's needs and wants, until Akela left Sanctuary. Vanator didn't understand that simple contact could trigger the gnosis.

With a perceptible shake of her head, Fade's gaze lifted again to meet his, her darkness passed and a smile returned to her refined features. The playful tone again flavored her voice and Vanator threw up his hands as the woman sent a splashing wave towards him. She had agreed to his bold offering. "Surprises can be good!" He retorted with a small splash back at her.

Wading towards the slide, Van looked down. The pools were becoming more secluded as the flumes progressed, and the prospect of exploring them, and the dark stairways that lead from each area, gave the Drykas a thrill. He pondered the slide a moment, then glanced back at Fade. He would let her choose whether she rode in front of him, or behind. The Drykas climbed into the slide, strong arms holding him from zooming away until Fade could get it. He looked back again at the woman with a wide grin.

"Climb aboard and hold on...and let the exploration begin!"

[Riverfall Water Park] Slide Over Here (Fade)

Postby Fade on January 29th, 2013, 7:48 pm

Fade chuckled her lips twisting into a playful smile but with a maybe borderline unhealthy mischievous edge. She was content with the fact that he hadn't inquired on her moment of strangeness, maybe he thought it was because of his maybe to forward comment. Whatever he thought she didn't want to explain so she let it pass and a fuzzy excitement started to build up in her stomach as she followed the Drykas towards a slide.

As he took position Fade frowned slightly indecision tugging at her mind. She could sit behind him so avoiding that when they dropped into the pool he would inadvertently push her under but then she would also loose the joy of the ride and have water in her face. She climbed onto the slide where he was holding onto the edge, paused for a moment reaching out to grip his shoulder for stability. Her gnosis pulsed with a red hue compulsions coursing through her with a strange gentleness. He wanted nothing more than to relax maybe wind down after a stressful time of solitude....solitude, she felt his lonliness now, as if she needed to fill a part of him. She had wanted to have fun even before having touched him, the consciousness of self that Fade had relaxed letting it all go.

She gently stepped in front of him careful not to slip a malicious smile starting to form oh her pale face. She gripped the edge of the slide gently moving into a sitting position, as she did she asked “What do you do at the Sanctuary?” Maybe it was not the right time to ask but curiosity always had the best of Fade. She sat back content with no restraint fitting snugly against him her back straight. Her red gnosis still pulsing gently with its own soft reddish hue, then she slighlty arched her back a suptle movement that made her press against him just a bit more, for her goddess was also one of pleasure and lust, and some desires were present in all men.

“Whenever you are ready!” She exclaimed happily , no thoughts in her head, no worries, just have a good time. Her gnosis was a gift exactly from this point of view, she fulfilled and was fulfilled by her actions.

Vanator gripped the sides of the slide, waiting for Fade to decide where to sit. He could not turn his head enough to see her, until her hand rested on his broad shoulder and the lithe woman settled on her seat between his legs. The slides of the waterpark were no longer the sole form of delight provided to the Drykas as Fade shimmied back, pressing against him. It had been so long since he had been this close to a woman, the sensation gave Vanator a heady thrill, and he found great pleasure, and excitement, in her company. He heard her feminine voice over the rush of water around them.

“What do you do at the Sanctuary?”

Vanator leaned forward against her, his mouth closer to her ear. "I am the Armsmaster. Kavala is my sister." He offered in explanation. Fade then announced that she was ready, and Vanator pushed off. Vanator placed his hands on the woman's waist as the two of them zoomed down the slide, a spray of water coating them as they careened down the flume, causing Van to squint as they entered the next pool room.

Just before impacting the water, Vanator leaned back. As their butts left the slide and they hit the water, Van used the hold on Fade's hips to pull himself below her, so he did not crash into her as the entered they pool. He found his feet quickly, rising from the water and throwing his head back to fling his hair out of his face. He looked around the smallish pool, another slide exited at the other side, and a stairway was cut in the wall at the side.

His eyes turned again to Fade, her pale skin glistening as the water dripped from her hair down her slim figure. A wide smile split his masculine features as he swam over to her. "So, fellow explorer, should we see where those stairs lead to?"

So, her first impression had been correct, he was a warrior of course but Fades mouth formed an O of surprise as he announced himself as Kavalas brother, what a coincidence! His warm breath near her ear made her shiver slightly and in that moment he pushed off holding her slim but toned waist, water sprayed everywhere entering her still open mouth which resulted in some subsequent coughing as she came up for air after they splashed into the pool. Vanator cleverly avoided falling on top of her as they zipped into the crystal clear pool. Coming up for air she coughed slightly then turned to Vanator who pointed out the stairs at the edge of the pool.

Fade smiled and moving towards the stairs and answered “Well, we have to find out then!”

As she moved thought the water she marvelled at how lightless she felt, pausing at the edge of the pool she placed her hands on the edge and hoisted herself into another handstand. Fade loved to show off, and being dripping wet just added a bonus. She levelled into a handstand slowly her legs moving into a split her back arching so she was facing Vanator upside down she said curiously maybe a hint of a question in her tone “I knew of Kavalas sister, Akela, but not of a brother…” Letting gravity do its work she shifted into a bridge now completely on the floor she moved into a standing position slowly unravelling in a flowing motion.

She looked back a slight grin gracing her lips, she beckoned to him her pale hand outstretched.

Fade seemed game for some exploration, and Vanator began to move towards the edge of the water, his eyes remaining on the young woman. He paused as she hoisted herself out of the water, but took a step back as Fade's feet did not stop to rest on the edge of the pool. Instead, they lifted from the water and continued upwards until the acrobat stood on her hands in front of him. without a temor her arms held her body in an a perfect vertical, the droplets of water running in rivulets down her legs, over her lean torso to run down her arms. Shapely legs separated into a split, her back arching seductively as the young woman faced him upside down. Vanator smiled, impressed, and not a little distracted by her extreme flexibility and exotic pose.

With motion as fluid as the water that ran down her ivory skin, she descended from her handstand to her feet. Fade noted that Kavala had never mentioned him while she was at Riverfall, and Van wondered if it was during the time the he and his sister were at odds over his choices regarding his wives. Those days seemed a lifetime away. In essence, they were.

Gracefully, fade looked back to summon him from the pool. Unable to perform a physical feat as impressive as the entertainer's, Vanator nevertheless did his best by placing his hands on the pool's edge, using his powerful arms and broad shoulders to vault from the water, his feet landing on the edge as he stood from the crouch. The Drykas moved to Fade's side, taking her small hand in his. His attraction to the young woman was apparent, fed by his loneliness, her beauty, and the lure of her Ranuri that worked on the man unawares.

Taking the lead, Vanator drew Fade behind him as they entered the stairway, the small tunnel leading downwards further into the earth. The air grew warmer and more moist as they descended and, after the steps took a slight turn, they opened up to a small, circular carved room. In the center of the chamber was a round pool, the water in it swirling about. A stream of water entered from a small hole in the side of the room, running in a small trough into the pool. the air was humid and warm, and tendrils of steam lifted from the roiling surface of the water.

Vanator crouched down, his hand dipping beneath the rippling surface. "Its warm." He exclaimed with a surprised grin. "I bet it feels good."

Releasing Fade's hand, Van slipped into the water, the gently swirling water coming up to his waist. It was not hot, but comfortably heated by the warm water entering the room. He lifted his hand to Fade to help her in, though he was sure the talented woman could find a more graceful way to enter the water. "Its not as exciting as the slides, but it makes for a nice rest stop." His eyes never left Fade, watching her move into the water. "Do you ever pull any muscles...doing those kind of things with your body?" Vanator still marveled at the way she could move.

[Riverfall Water Park] Slide Over Here (Fade)

Fade watched the Drykas powerfully vault out of the pool and then landed in a crouch a small smile of admiration playing on her lips. What she felt for him was almost reverence a bond of invisible chains that came far from the human world. He took her pale hand, small in his , and they entered the small tunnel Vanator taking the lead as they descended. The air started to grown warmer and steamer and they soon emerged into a smaller circular cavern where in the middle was a smaller pool of clear roiling water.
The steam came clearly from the warm water and Vantor tested the water dipping his hand under its surface and annoying it as pleasantly warm.
He slowly climbed in extending a helping hand which she accepted gently steeping into the warm water. The water wasn’t deep and the sides of the pool were shaped into comfortable shaped so to sit upon.
She sank to her knees till all but her head underwater enjoying its caressing touch, the warm air made everything seem so calm and the slight mist gave a sense of privacy.

She emerged slowly standing and smiled at his question regarding contortionists. Her mark making sure that all her movements were subtle messages, her body language enticing and precise. The slightly tilted head revealing her long neck, the languid sideways look, the slightly parted lips and the slow movements as she played with her hair where all small parts of a bigger game at work.

She replied slowly “Yes, it happens, muscles ligaments and more” She lifted her leg slightly bent her balance perfect “Especially thigh muscles” She ran her fingers slowly along her thigh then drifted to the side of the pool “It’s an acrobats saying after all that if you do not wake up with a million aches and pains, well…you are probably dead” She smiled indicating her spin and bending backwards a little. Her small backbend though would differ from any normal persons one for her back didn’t move in a rigid block but arched considerably as if formed by many separate pieces. “It’s hard on the back and ribcage as well and upper back pains are a daily ache for me…”

With a gentle hold of his calloused hand, Vanator watched Fade descend into the warm pool. The dynamic between the man and woman seemed to have altered along with the venue. The environment had gone from a more public, recreational atmosphere to a more intimate, private affair. Fade's demeanor had shifted subtly as well. The slim woman's movements were more deliberate and fluid, as if she leisurely enjoyed moving every muscle, one motion flowing to the next, accentuating every curve and contour of her form.

Vanator found himself staring as the entertainer explained the price she paid for her acrobatic talent, exhibiting her flexibility and balance. The Drykas did not understand the forces at play now, though he knew his own long unsatisfied affections worked on his reactions, he did not yet know that Fade's Ranuri was weaving a seduction between the two of them, feeding off of his desires and compelling the woman to seek their satisfaction.

The ivory-skinned woman arched her back, creating a smooth curve with her spine, a graceful deep bend. Vanator had not seen a woman able to move like Fade. The elegant pose emphasized the flat plane of her abdomen as it rose from the water, the structure of her ribcage becoming more defined, the swell of her breast more prominent. Vanator inhaled, appreciating the beauty and fitness of Fade's physique. He drew a few steps closer, without a thought, his smile reflecting his enjoyment of the moment.

"Then it is a good thing, I suppose, that we found a good warm pool to help relax those taxed muscles." The Drykas crooned with a smooth tone. He ducked into the water, up to his chin, feeling the heat of the water for a moment before standing again. There was a draw to the woman that he felt firmly, compelling the Drykas to get closer to the girl. He took another step, closing the distance between himself and Fade. A strong hand brushed lightly across her shoulder. "Do those muscles hurt today? I would be happy to help alleviate some of that soreness." Van drew a line above the upper ridge of either shoulder blade with his thumbs, with just enough pressure to feel the knotted muscles beneath her light skin.
