Solo Meeting Lilia Allis.

Nai'a finds the elderly lady people still talk about to this day about her radical views. Nai'a could not help but have this dire need of having her teach her Herbalism and Philtering, for she too was a strange being, and already she felt connected with the lady. But will Lilia Allis accept to teach her, a Kelvic, or will Nai'a be rejected?

Meeting Lilia Allis.

4th of Spring, 513 AV
Morning
Lilia Allis' Green House

Nai'a had a rough Winter, an emotional struggle a long with a mental one, dealing with the sickly in the Infirmary. She did not mind helping people, that was not the problem. It was the fact that so many had died while she was trying to save them that caused her grief. The little one's eyes.. Children even died at her hands, their eyes that should of had the spark of life, full of innocence, and a little mischief haunted her dreams. Instead of looking into the eyes of a healthy child, she was peering into dead, lifeless orbs. No life resided behind those eyes, they were dull, lacking in innocence, as if the sickness had tore it away. Nai'a still cried at night remembering the sight of so many that held the eyes of the dead, even when they were still alive, you could tell they were going to die by the lack of life that stared back at you.

Nai'a shivered slightly, rubbing her arms. It was not that cold outside today, it was a pleasant Spring day, but the chill of the faces that still haunted her made her feel so cold inside. With all whom had passed, Nai'a could not help but feel like she needed to advance in her knowledge of Herbalism, and even learn Philtering. She questioned a few people about what professors to seek out, and everyone told her not to take Lilia Allis as her professor, that she was touched in the head, a loon. Maybe they should of never told her the stories of how she believed plants held a spirit, or how she tried to get ghosts to come out of the plants to talk to her, because that just made Ms. Allis all that more desirable as a teacher for Nai'a. It was the fact that she was different, not like all the rest, that really attracted her. Plus the people did mention that she was very knowledgeable about plants and philtering. So she decided to take it upon herself to seek Ms. Allis out on her day of rest, hoping it would not anger her, and that she was not too busy at the Green House to hear her out.

She finally made it to the Green House in which Lilia Allis spent her off time, more than likely trying to get the plants to talk to her. Nai'a looked up at the sky, the sun had yet to make it to the middle, so it was not noon time yet, still morning hours. Nai'a opened the door to the Green House slowly, stepping in on light feet, not wanting to disturb Ms. Allis if she was indeed inside.

Nai'a walked around for a couple of chimes, looking and admiring all the unique flora that Lilia Allis had in her green house, realizing that she had yet to find the woman.

The healer cleared her throat, "Ahem... Excuse me? Lilia Allis?" Nai'a called out softly, peering around the Green House. Her sensitive ears picked up the sound of moving feet, then a voice.

"Yes?" A soft somewhat crackled voice called out. The person owning the voice finally appeared from behind some larger flora. The woman was slender, with long white hair that reached her navel area, and kind blue eyes that sparkled with intrigue. "Look at your hair..." The elderly woman stated, gazing at Nai'a's hair with abundant interest, reaching out with her slightly withered hand to touch it, then with drawing as if thinking it best not to touch. The woman cleared her throat and gave Nai'a a warm smile, "Sorry, your hair is... unique. Anyways, I am Lilia Allis, what do you need dear?" The woman asked the question, yet she was still staring at the pink mane upon Nai'a's head.

Nai'a could not help but blush slightly at the attention her hair was getting. Some how though she thought it gave her a slight edge with the woman, since it made her different just like she was amongst the other's in Zeltiva. Nai'a knew her hair was unique, strange even, but she also thought it beautiful.

"Well, I came her hoping that maybe, if you had time... Maybe you could teach me... About Herbalism and Philtering?" Nai'a's voice wavered ever so slightly, she was frightened that the professor of Botany would reject her. She locked her dark grey eyes with the woman's kind blue ones, pleading for her to say yes.

"Well... Yes. I think I may have some time on my hands to teach you. Maybe.. Do you have any knowledge of Herbalism and Philtering?" Lilia kept her voice neutral, a teachers tone.

Nai'a gave the woman a bright smile, "Yes I do have knowledge of Herbalism, I have worked at the Infirmary with Mistress Claira this Winter Season and have gained a little more about it. I have never learned anything about Philtering though, but thought it would be best that I did since I am a healer." Nai'a's words rushed out excitedly, she was happy that the woman said that she might teach her, that she was convinced the answer was going to be yes.

Lilia nodded her head, examining Nai'a with the eyes of a teacher, "Alright... I think I might be able to put something in that head of yours that will stick. Your classes will start tomorrow. We will do the Herbalism at the 9th Bell in the morning, then the Philtering will be done on the 11th Bell. Now I must get back to tending to these plants, see your way out, we will talk more tomorrow."

Nai'a nearly jumped up in the air with excitement. Finally she would learn to become a better healer, maybe then so many will not die at her hands. "Oh! Thank you thank you thank you! I can not wait! See you in the morning Ms. Allis!" Nai'a's words bubbled over with excitement and she rushed out of the Green House with a feeling of achievement and renewal.
