Kelvic? This man was a Kelvic? Okay, things could get weirder, then. He felt really odd for suddenly developing weird feelings for something that was often a no-brained animal. Normally he would've found it far more disgusting than he did, though; right now, he just didn't care. He felt a strong compulsion. The first thought was that he was just horny, which was actually pretty true to an extent, but the explanation wasn't that brief. Fortunately, he didn't even have to figure it out himself; Wymond gave him the answer in a silver platter. He had mixed feelings in response to it. He didn't know if going along with this was the right thing to do, but he couldn't control it all. "I know," he said in response. He didn't know, really, but -- he didn't want to seem like he was completely out of it.

An Endal always had to be ahead. "My condolences for that, by the way," he smiled a little, his hand still resting against Wymond's chest. This man... or beast, was quickly becoming the spice of his night, even though he didn't ask for it at first. It grew on him quickly, though. As strange as it was to say, the Kelvic bonding experience had always been akin to 'falling in love' or something like that. Although it wasn't quite as pure in his heart as just that, this was the closest he had ever felt to real attachment. Which was, well -- strange. He felt the quick beating of the Kelvic's heart with his hand, but he sensed the emotions in other ways, too. It wasn't very clear to him, but he just... knew. Wymond didn't want to be rejected.

Ridiculously enough, he had no intention of rejecting him. The only thing he could imagine about right now was said obnoxious Kelvic, and it wasn't a harsh imagination. It was very warm and fuzzy. Which totally didn't fit Zed as a person, but there it was. He felt content with the moment. All of it was a huge surprise to him, but lately he had been developing a sense of loneliness amongst the crowd of his kind. Didn't bonding with a Kelvic mean being together forever, or something like that?

...That was fine by him. As long as Wymond knew who the man was in the relationship. "I hope this isn't a part of some elaborate scam to steal my roof from under me," he laughed merrily. He knew it wasn't, though; the feeling was real. "And I hope you know that you're still a drudge until I decide otherwise." Which had already happened the moment the bond struck, really. But it wasn't easy to admit that some foreigner had instantly broken through his exterior and made him feel like a sexually repressed schoolgirl. Which, although nervously, brought on the next line of thinking, "So... wanna... eheh... consummate our bondage? Er, I mean bond?" Of course, he had to at least offer consummation. He was still a guy, if Wymond couldn't tell, with all of his silk curtains.

Since the moment was very exciting, his mind was very restless. He had been thinking about what was appropriate for the situation. Did bondmates do all of that cheesy stuff like kissing? He never saw the appeal, really, but maybe it'd be interesting to try right now. Perhaps it wasn't zesty enough. Or maybe this wasn't even that type of bond? He was probably going to off himself if this turned into some "supreme friendship" sort of thing. That wasn't very awesome of a bond at all!

Wymond gulped and waited for a response. He could kinda…feel Zed’s emotions, and the amount and speed of these emotions were making Wymond dizzy. “I know,” Zed said, which made Wymond snort and give a slight smirk. Nope, he didn’t. He didn’t have the slightest clue. Gods, Wymond just barely knew. Then again, Wymond had never spent just much time with his own kind to learn about these things, and his mother had died when he was hardly a year old. "My condolences for that, by the way," he then said with a smirk of his own playing across his face.

This whole situation should have Wymond pulling out his hair and raging like a rabid beast, because being bonded to someone meant not being free, right? Being bonded meant not being able to just up and go where ever he wanted, to do whatever he pleased, and what-have-you. But it didn’t seem to bother Wymond in the slightest bit; in fact it was the contrary. He…rather liked it. He wasn’t alone anymore. He never allowed himself the luxury of companionship other than his horse Bea, not since he watched his mother give her life for his. He didn’t want to feel that loss again, he didn’t want that responsibility. Now, he wanted it, and had it.

Zed then made a joke about Wymond being some kind of scrounger, but his tone was happy and light hearted. Zed’s whole demeanor had changed; perhaps he wasn’t as much as an ass as Wymond thought he was. "And I hope you know that you're still a drudge until I decide otherwise." …Or perhaps he was.

Zed then moved a little closer, a cocky look on his face as he said, "So... wanna... eheh... consummate our bondage? Er, I mean bond?" Wymond frowned and cocked his head to the side at that. What was the man talking about? Because after all, dear Wymond was naïve and innocent on most carnal matters. ...

Wymond was entirely silent. He stood there, staring, a bit like a brain-dead calf. Well, two could play at that game. The ginger stared back at his bondmate, yes, bondmate, and kept his sheepish grin lifted up to his cheeks. Neither of them really needed to say anything, regardless. He just knew -- and that was pretty awesome. Wymond was confused, and then slowly that built up to happiness. In return, Zed was happy too. God, the way he was just laying down and accepting this felt so lame to him, but it was one of the better moments of his life. Anyway -- he was mostly done aggrandizing the moment. He didn't want to be like Wymy here who was too occupied with staring and thinking that he didn't say a thing.

Or do a thing, for that matter. He could've given an implication of sorts. Cocking his head wasn't enough of one. At least it gave 'Red' here something to say. "Nevermind. You'll know what I meant soon enough." That was possibly ominous to say, but was there a better way to say it? Regardless, the Inarta decided he had enough of cornering Wymond against the door, and instead took to pulling him along, as he had already done many times. It was clear as day that Zed was very pushy with what he wanted -- a simple "come here" wasn't quick enough for his tastes.

He didn't pull Wymond very far, just a bit near one of his curtains at the side of the room. He supposed he didn't really need to seek answers out from Wymond; they were both equally lost in this, although the answers were becoming more coherent as time quickly passed. "Alright, Wymond," he emphasized his name, as he always did. "If you don't say something coherent, I'm just going to assume that you're totally willing to do everything I say. To any extent." The grin turned to a smirk, although the expressions very similar to each other from the start. Hopefully the Kelvic wasn't dumb enough to not realize the gravity of the situation. Even if he didn't understand Zed's fancy vocabulary, he could understand feelings, couldn't he? They both had something going on in their hearts.

Zed had a calm relief, but a strong desire. And Wymond's emotions weren't far off from that. He just didn't want to rush anyth-- okay, yeah, he did. Abstinence was for children and zealots. It would've been nice if he could just lord his status over him, but that split between acting like an Endal and acting like a "bondmate" was really driving him nuts. "You have three seconds . . . two . . . one . . ." His hands suddenly fell to Wymond's thighs. Although it sounded awkward... he liked the feeling of his skin. At least until he went animal mode. ...

Wymond was quickly learning the finer details of Zed that went beyond his arrogance. One of those details was that he loved to hear himself talk. The other was that he was very impatient. It wasn’t long before Zed was grabbing a hold of Wymond’s arm again and saying, “Never mind. You'll know what I meant soon enough." The little voice in the back of Wymond’s mind told him that Zed’s phrase and tone was foreboding, but such thoughts were brushed aside as Wym was once again being dragged by Zed over to a curtain on the other side of the room.

Zed moved in real close to Wym, the look on his face was almost predatory. He then spoke, saying Wymond’s name as though he was trying to remind the Kelvic that yes, that was his name. "If you don't say something coherent, I'm just going to assume that you're totally willing to do everything I say. To any extent."

“And if you don’t stop pulling me around like a stern mother, I am going to also assume that you are no longer a Rooster, but rather a Hen.” Wymond smiled then, the expression on Zed’s face was priceless. Wym no longer had a fear of Zed hurting him. Two bondmates can play at a game of wits. Just because Wymond did not speak much, didn’t mean that the Kelvic was incapable of snark.

But what caught Wymond truly off guard was when after counting down faster than Wymond could reply, Zed touched the Kelvic's almost bare thighs, making Wymond jerk and gasp. Wym’s eyes were wide and his face was instantly the color of most of Zed’s room; a vibrant shade of red. ...

Zed couldn't help but look a little happy. He was just very content at the moment. Wymond started to talk, trying to sound insulting or witty or whatever -- but he cut it off with a kiss; his nose brushing up against the Kelvic's as their tongues played around for a long moment. The kiss itself was probably a little awkward because it was new to him, and probably new to the Kelvic, but... the passion couldn't be mistaken. He would've felt ridiculous if made to verbally describe this feeling, but he knew the simple way of saying it in his head. It was love. Which was cheesy and not like him, and also really damn rushed. None of that was his fault though. The Kelvic just had this bewitching power to him. This "bonding" thing was like being under a spell. Not a harmful one, really, but there was nothing he could do.

After a time, the feeling of awkwardness and "weirdness" receded, and instead his curiosity stepped in, mixed with the passion that didn't seem to go away. He wasn't going to speak, because everything he had to say was either lame or corny. He spoke with action. The Kelvic didn't say anything after the three-second countdown, so he had won the day, at least in his mind. He brought his palm up to stroke the Kelvic's cheek, enjoying the red tone crossing his face. If he could've seen his own face, he probably would've corrected it; he looked too giddy for his own good.

He was rather intent, instead, on correcting the situation of being over-clothed. His shirt had already been off for a while; which revealed a chest similarly built to Wymond, although less dark in shade. He bent down to tug away at his pants, and with time, managed to pull them away. It wasn't a very calm thing, either; he was grabbing and frustrating himself like a madman. The "calm understanding" of having a bondmate didn't mean he wasn't an impatient little tramp. What was left when he pulled it away was just something of a loincloth; although, perhaps laughably, it was a little too fancy for the situation. Finally, now that one was completely revealed and one was just a breath away from it, he found the desire to say something. "You can live in the aeries with me, Wymond," his voice was less vibrant than usual. He didn't have much to say, after all. "You can stay under my wing." But... "But at least call me Zed." He wasn't a hen or a rooster. He was his bondmate.

The Inarta pressed his mate against the silk curtain, his arms wrapping around the man's strong frame, wrapping them together in a tight embrace. After a while of this, his lips started to explore the Kelvic's neck, before lowering to his collarbones and kissing them softly. He didn't know how to be intimate, for the most part -- whenever he got... frisky with someone, it was often forced on them and he was anything but gentle. This experience was strange to him. But he couldn't lose his jazz. He pulled Wymond back onto the large bed, and climbed on top of him. His head lowered, kissing his lips again, and his hands smoothed down the surface of the Kelvic's toned chest. He smiled vibrantly, and spoke once more. "Guess who the woman is?"

Wymond was in shock, and completely unsure of anything. The moment Zed pressed his lips against Wym’s mouth; the Kelvic’s mind had gone blank of any and all logical thought. All he knew then was that his body felt hot and that he really liked whatever it was Zed was doing. Was it a common thing with Inarta, or just Zed? He heard a rather needy moan when Zed broke away from the kiss, but he absolutely refused to acknowledge that it had been him who made such a sound. Wymond's calloused hands found Zed’s shoulders and shyly caressed the soft skin. Wymond was almost panting and his eyes seemed slightly out of focus. But he knew one thing for sure, he wanted Zed’s scent.

When Wymond was able to regain some focus, the first thing he truly saw was the self-satisfied expression on Zed’s face. But Wym was too distracted with nuzzling into his bondmate’s hand to really react to it. He even opened his mouth to lightly nip the soft palm of the Inarta. Wymond’s skin felt like it was on fire, but pleasantly so. The feeling of ecstasy from finding his bondmate was not only taking its toll but also the strange new sensations that coveted his neither region were maddening.

Wymond leaned forward as Zed took away his hand, if only to strip down to his bare essentials. Wymond would have laughed at the frantic struggle had he been in another mind set. Zed said something along the lines of Wymond staying with him. He wanted to shelter his bondmate. But what truly caught the Kelvic’s fleeting attention was Zed’s request. Wymond gave a slow smile and he leaned in close to Zed’s ear and whispered softly, “Alright, I suppose I can call you by your name… Zed.” He made sure to draw out the Inarta’s name.

Wymond’s coyness was short-lived when Zed did the most devious thing with his mouth. Wymond found himself becoming a trembling mess as Zed kissed and tasted the sensitive skin of Wymond’s neck and chest. The sounds he was making; they were simply sordid. And when Zed had laid Wymond on his bed, the Kelvic had well and truly submitted

"Guess who the woman is?" Zed purred as he stroked Wymond’s chest.

Wymond narrowed his eyes and leaned up to nip at the redhead’s lips and throat. “Let’s find out, shall we?”

****

It was several hours later, as the new bondmates lain curled up together in the spacious bed, Wymond managed a quiet chuckle, then winced at the soreness of his body. Wymond honestly could careless who was the female or not. He finally found the missing part of himself, in this moody, arrogant, and beloved Inarta. ...

It had been a strange day. Some would say a stranger night, but that word was too harsh for the events that transpired. Everything, right now, was at peace. In his mind, he could see a clarity he hadn't seen in a long time. The Inarta's face was empty; empty of smile, sadness, or regret. He looked upon Wymond, and kissed him gently beneath his chin. Their bodies were bound in a tight grip, and he felt a not-so-slight tickle from the meeting of their skin. He responded by gripping him more firmly, and rubbing their bodies together, trying to stretch out the sensation. Finally, after a long silence, Zed parted his lips to speak. "I've gotta say..." He finally cracked a smile, "I didn't expect that to happen." Well, he kind of did. The moment Wymond randomly stripped nude in the center of the commons was probably an indication that they were going to get it on.

But not like that. There was a real passion between them; passion that burned like a fire inside of him. Even after it had appeared to subside, it was still flickering. Wymond's expression laid upon his handsome face was enough to make Zed feel that butterfly thing again. This time, though, they could roam free. Whatever. "The first thing I was initially going to ask... how was it? But I sort of figured that I didn't need to ask. You may be wincing and groaning, but your eyes scream a different thing," he grinned. Obviously, being intimate with someone didn't seem to change his attitude.

Still, he felt kind of gross. Not because of the sex, but because his body was sweating like mad. Wymond was too. The Reach -- even the aeries -- was always so damn hot. Summer was near, so it was worse still. He probably couldn't even sleep the heat away if he wanted to, though -- he was too hungry and too hormonal to put himself to rest. "Alright..." He pulled away from his lover, throwing the blanket off of them. After crawling off the bed, he went over to a drawer, bent over, and grabbed some undergarments from the piece. Slipping them on, he walked away to the "larder" of his room. He stumbled, at first -- probably because he was tired. Probably.

The Inarta loomed over his stored food, which actually seemed rather fresh, considering how he was gone so long. Zac must've replaced it for him. He'd thank him later for that, but not now. "So, you hungry? I've got some meat. Not the kind I gave you earlier -- the edible kind," Of course, he had to crack that joke, "While we eat, you can tell me all about yourself. Like, where you came from... what type of job you're looking for... what animal you transform to. Oh -- and your age. I know Kelvics age strangely, but I figure it can't be too far off. You're... fifteen, maybe?" He wasn't sure what type of animal he was, really. Although, honestly, he didn't even know that Kelvics aged in direct correspondence to said animal. He figured Wymond would live a long life, like a normal human being.

Sadly, as he wasn't normal or human, that wasn't the case.

Wymond made a small rumbling sound in his chest as a sign of approval when Zed leaned up to kiss him, and even more quiet noises when Zed pressed him back against the bed to touch. The feeling of Zed’s skin against his own was pleasurable in more than just a physical way. For a moment, Wymond thought the Endal was trying to initiate things once more but the man pulled away with an all too smug look on his face. “I’ve gotta say, I didn’t expect that to happen.” It was a lie. Wymond could feel it through Zed, but he didn’t care. What he did care about was the growing warmth in his groin. So, to hide the coloring skin of his face, he nuzzled it against the size of Zed’s neck to once again breathe in the man’s scent.

"The first thing I was initially going to ask... how was it? But I sort of figured that I didn't need to ask. You may be wincing and groaning, but your eyes scream a different thing," Zed chuckled. Wymond growled in response, and lightly bit the Endal’s neck in reply to his brazenness.

It was then that the Inarta decided to pull away and get up from the bed. Wymond’s eyes had locked onto Zed’s skin, becoming hooded as he watched the man move with a certain kind of grace. It was almost a tragic sight to see his bondmate get somewhat dressed, but he wouldn’t admit that. At least, not verbally. Zed then walked over to where he seemed to store his food and looked it over with a grateful expression before looking over his shoulder to say, "So, you hungry? I've got some meat. Not the kind I gave you earlier -- the edible kind," Wymond snorted and rolled his eyes as he too untangled himself from the silk sheets of the bed. "While we eat, you can tell me all about yourself. Like, where you came from... what type of job you're looking for... what animal you transform to. Oh -- and your age. I know Kelvics age strangely, but I figure it can't be too far off. You're... fifteen, maybe?" Zed finished. It gave Wymond a secret joy knowing that Zed wanted to know about him.

Wymond shifted into his wolf form, in a dizzyingly display of lights. It was quick and it was painless and done as easily as breathing. Once in his wolf form, he stretched out his front paws while his back end was in the air, his tail curling as the muscles flexed and then relaxed. His thick fur was black as pitch, but considerably thinner than his winter coat. The wolf stood back up and trotted over to Zed and looked up at him with the same blue/brown eyes before shifting back into his human form. Wymond figured that it would be easier to show his bondmate, rather than just tell him.

Wymond then moved behind Zed and rested his chin on the other man’s shoulder as he examined the supply of food. He pointed out what he would like, and Zed grabbed something for himself as well before the went over to a table as sat down on the chairs. “I am a hunter, it is what I have always done. I come from Sunberth, I felt the need to travel in the middle of last Autumn, so I left. And I just recently turned 3 years old this spring.” Wymond chuckled then, “If I was 15, I would be an old gray man.”
