Yumi jumped over a fallen tree as she chased a rather large deer through the densely wooded forest, narrowly avoiding hitting a tree at least 5 times. As she neared it she let out a fears growl and lunged, sinking her claws into its hide and trying to sink her teeth into its back while it bucked. Trying to get away from it's attacker the deer bucked as hard as it could, falling over; Yumi's claws lost its grip and let go, narrowly avoiding being pierced by the deers antlers as it fumbled to get up and ran off.
Panting, she watched the 3rd deer she'd chase get away as she lay on the ground with a bit of blood splattered on her fur. The deer wasn't injured badly enough for her to be able to follow it's trail, and she was to exhausted to chase it down and fight it again. Disappointed, she walked to the clearing the deer she chased was grazing at before she saw it.
After drinking some of the streams water to wet her parched throat she dipped her head, then slowly walked into it in order to cool her off. Climbing back onto the bay, with her fur dipping wet causing water to fall onto the grassy ground beneath her, she sat down and started thinking of a way to get close enough to a deer so it wouldn't see her before she was close enough to take it down. As much as she did like the thrill of the chase, she wanted to get Kujyaku her pelt.
She changed back into the human form and sat on the bay, her body completely exposed, her skin still wet from the water and shined thanks to the sun, and a light breeze moved her hair as she watching the water flow at of her feet while she let her mind drift to non-important things. While she let herself rest to regain energy for another chase, she was completely oblivious to everything around her.
