Character Name Appearance Name: Vidar WinterFlame Race: Vantha Gender: Male. Age: 22 Birthday: 16th, Spring, 490. Birthplace: Avanthal, WinterFlame Appearance: Vidar stands at 5'11". He roughly weighs 180Lbs. His shoulders, back, and chest are well developed from years of hard labor, his mid section strong from heavy lifting, and his legs well toned from traversing the rocky slopes of his family's estate. His hair, a dark brown, is combed back and kept short. A beard hangs upon his face with a few beads braided into the dark mop upon his face as was his family's custom. His bushy eyebrows hid his dark golden eyes. A jagged scar ran from under his left ear, across the bridge of his nose and ending in the middle of his right cheek. A wound he received in a violent confrontation at a young age. Character Concept: Vidar always felt outcast, destined to always be in the shadow of the first born of his immediate family.He dreams of finding his fortune, and possibly his own land, something not common in his people. He knows that those days are still far off, and plans on becoming a sell-sword until he can find his way in this world. Character History Vidar WinterFlame son of Aron WinterFlame, was born into a large family. Being the second oldest of nine. He lived in the WinterFlame hold where life was cramped. He had many friends to play with as a child. Though his childhood did not last very long because his father was determined to break tradition left their comfortable hold and drug his family into the white north to find a new home. Their new estate generated no revenue the family had to manage the lands and upkeep on the few buildings they had managed to construct. He knew from the day he could think on his own that he could not stay there, the lands belonged to his older brother once his father died. He and his siblings would either be married off or have to seek their own fortune out in the world. He set off in the dead of night, taking with him only the clothes on his back, a spare pack, food, water skin and the only gift his father had given him The Family Axe. A simplistic weapon, or tool. The head of the axe has their family's crest engraved while the handle was carved from the only tree that had grown on their estate. He left at the tender age of fifteen which ended up with a bloody fight between his older brother and himself. Now he is well underwayon his journy to find his fortune. Greetings Vidar! I am Noblesse, the assistant storyteller of Avanthal. I noticed some points in your character sheet that don't quite fit the lore. You will have to correct them before you can continue playing as your PC, and it would be much appreciated if you would not post into any other threads until the issues in your CS has been addressed. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask!

 

Birthday

Please add "AV" to the year of Vidar's birth. This would make his birth date Spring 16, 490 AV. We are particular about proper timestamping, so make sure you do this.

Additionally, since Vidar was born on the Spring of 490 AV, he would already be 23 years old instead of just 22. His birthday had already passed, so make sure his age matches this.

 

Appearance

As a Vantha, Vidar would possess eyes that changes colors with their moods as well as hair that shimmers with highlights. I recommend that you reread the Vantha lore page, especially the topic of a Vantha's physical appearance.

 

History

A man cannot just drag his whole family to the Northern Wastes and build several buildings on their own. Aside from the large expenses, they would have died just in the process of transporting materials far out in the tundra. Even if they were successful in doing this, there are many monsters out there that they cannot fend off on their own. That's why people huddle together in cities for protection, because there's safety in numbers.

Please edit your character's history to fit Avanthal's lores.

 

Language

Instead of "Vantha", the people of Avanthal call their language "Vani"

 

Skills

As a rule, you can only assign a minimum of 5 points and a maximum of 30 points to a skill. You can't have your skill in Trapping at just 4 points.

Also, make sure that the numbers in the exp column and the total column matches up. Your skill with the Axe states that you have assigned it 26 SP, but you only placed 25 for its total points.

Another thing: you missed adding in your Racial Bonus. As a Vantha, you can have either 10 RB in Storytelling or 10 RB in Carving. Don't shorthand yourself!

 

Housing

Even if you had already turned in your housing, you should still state where your character lives. If you are in Avanthal and not living in your Hold, you are most likely living at the Savintar Warrens.
